In Jacksonville, FL - Al's Pizza is the best - followed closely by Renna's and Brooklyn Pizza.
On Long Island, try Christiano's in Syossset.

Godfather's is awesome pizza! Its a pizza you can't refuse. Its really good.
A distant second is Buddy's Pizza. All other pizza's are third rate. Oother pizza's, while they indeed may be quite good, are just not Buddy's.

Grotto Pizza in Delaware and northeast Pennsylvania...love their traditional pizza with sweet peppers and mushrooms and the "white pizza" (bianco) with either a veggie combo or Olé with jalapenos and sun-dried tomatoes.

I'll have to check that out. I don't know much about Dorchester.
Ever been to Sorento's at 86 Peterborough Street in the Fenway? Its just behind Fenway Park. For 10 years they had the best pizza in Boston. But the last time I was there with my buddies the place had changed. One pizza was damned near in edible as it was drenched in salt, the other pizza showed up 15 minutes later and was stone cold. The service was as bad as it gets.
Its a shame when a favorite place starts going down hill.

Despite his smelly self, I think tomkow could probably make a mean pizza. He's quite the Chef.

MY homemade Pizza. It is so easy and not a lot of people know the little secret to getting Pizzaria style crust. i make my own dough and cook it in my own standard oven with a little added feature and that is the secret.
