Just breaking on FOX that the IAF has viedo of the bombing of the Qana building that proves rocket launchers were present. More to follow soon...
Wow....!!!
Thanks for the clip....!!!
I don't even know what you are talking about.
I agree that his media campaign has been less than effective, in particular letting McClellan keep his job for more than a week. He was useless. But it is the President who has given many great speechees, starting in 2001 after 9-11 and continuing up to the this day. His speeches get next to no coverage in the media, of course.
But as hard as the MSM tries, it does not alter GWB. No matter how the democrats whine, it does not matter. Afgahnistan has been a great success, all things considered, and the re-invogorated Taliban has been gettin slaughtered in the the South.
Bush went to war with Saddam despite the UN, despite the majority of european countries, and despite Russia and China.
Bush pulled us out of the Russia ABM treaty despite near universal condemnation.
Bush rejected Kyoto and the International Criminal Court, despite world opinion.
Bush has given cover for Israel's war against Hezbollah, that without it, it could never do what it is doing. His plans for a ceasefire are contingent upon the dismantling of Hezbollah, which he knows will never be accepted by most of the parties involved, so more cover is being given to Israel in the guise of a "lasting peace".
Bush gave the green light to bomb Zarq despite "civilian" casualties, just as he allowed the hellfire missile in Pakistan to take out a gatheing of Al Qaeda types, despite the wimmin & chillen. The battle for Falluja, after first letting the sunni politicians delay it, was simply remarkable and Falluja today is not the inusrgent hotbed it was. We will crush the sectarian militias in Baghdad and environs soon.
So yes, many mistakes. But despite that, a spine of steel.
So we're even. ;^)
It isn't probably true ... it is true. As far as the more recent scandal concerning Dalton, I'm drawing a complete blank.
#296...exactly correct.
It was infra-red video. That's why the quality is lacking.
It also appeared to be time stamped 7/22/06.
But if that is the same building near the launches, it's damning.
High Volume. Articles on Israel can also be found by clicking on the Topic or Keyword Israel.
also Keywords 2006israelwar or WOT [War on Terror]

Israelis had plastered the buildings for days telling civilians to get out. They knew, Israel knew, and most important the Hezzies knew and deliberately did nothing about it!
The blood of their kids is on the the Muslims' hands...where it has always been.
You're not Bush and that's how you think you would do it. To put words in his mouth and demand exact specifications from him is wrong. He supports Israel in HIS EXACT WAY. Oh,but if he doesn't do it 'MY EXACT WAY' then he's anathema. Bunk.
The Hizz launch their rockets then flee from the area, leaving the innocent to die.
Nice try. I remember the millions marching in Germany against upgrading NATO defenses and missile deployment, when the European public sentiment appeared more vocal and averse to the US than it does now. Yet Reagan still led. I remember having to avoid areas that were American when I was over there after the Berlin disco bombing and our strikes on Tripoli. I remember my roomate having to run out of a Paris subway station after an evacuation announcement and subsequent bombing. I remember the pounding he took from the media, some of which would not be responded to much. But on important matters he would challenge them or go over their heads to talk directly to the public whenever it was necessary, and to the extent necessary. Volume and quantity wasn't the issue, but effectivenss.
Yeah, withdrawing from Beirut may have been the biggest mistake of his presidency, but it also was a decision made in a different context. There were no WMD programs threatening bringing attacks to our shores, a more divided, less armed, and somewhat counterbalanced M.E., with Iran not having near the ability to wage a proxy war on the scale that it can now with Hezb and other groups.
I thought IDF said they had been warning the civilians to leave the area before hitting it today, in which case it would make sense to me the video was taken earlier. No?
That stands to reason, given the fact that Satan, aka Allah, is the father of lies and death.
what a great post, thanks!
"There were no WMD programs threatening bringing attacks to our shores"
should read:
"There were no terrorist WMD programs threatening bringing attacks to our shores"
"But if that is the same building near the launches, it's damning."
True.
It's a function of volume. This thread too is a bit much, I've read through half of it skipping ahead here and there and I stlll have no idea what the Qana building is ...I guess I'll go watch TV.
