Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.

Turns out I have CNN too in this hotel. They are calling Condi's visit "shuttle diplomacy".
Ticking me off everytime they do. Condi is not Madiline Halfbright.
I hate not having FOX.
Thanks!! 53 ..... time flies when ur having fun!!
CNN trying to draw comparisons and equalize Halfwit with Condi. They will no succeed.
CNN wouldn't know a mare from a steer.
no=not
More coffee.......(blinkblink)
Wow! That is one heck of a photo!
Wow! I agree!
Bad news about that chopper crash, according to Mike Jarrett (sp). He said they would have news about it after the break . Sounds like someone didn't survive.
Yeah. Shuttle diplomacy implies no substance. This administration has proven time and again that we dont go in with chocolates and basketballs.
WOW! I have heard that it actually gets to 125 there.
The highest recorded temperature in the world is in Libya at 135.9; Death Valley, CA, is second with a record of 134.4. If it hits 125 in Iraq, that's more than 14 degrees higher than it was here and only 10-11 degrees below the Libya and Death Valley records. WOW!
Ghastly!
Placemark..got to go get the granadkids.
"Perspective" or too easily adopted coloring book page? Evil people can be quite charming for a few weeks, months even.
Just curious how it works there.
accuweather.com reports that at 3:18pm its 111 degrees, but the 'RealFeel' is 118 degrees. What's up with that?
And I feel I must complain less about my 101 degrees yesterday (probably not - lol).
Yes, it's supposed to start breaking come Tuesday. We need relief. Everybody is staying inside. It's kind of eerie.

Did anyone just catch Miles O'Brien (Brian?) on CNN, with the IDF officer?
"So you flat out deny that"
(He'd asked the officer whether Israel was making it difficult for humanitarian aid to get in).
The officer said Israel was doing its utmost to avoid civilian casualties and to get in humanitarian aid.
Miles (in an angry, bitter voice): "So you flat out deny that."
The exchange made me so mad I told my son I needed the computer right away.
That is an amazing picture, btw.
People were out shopping at the big indoor malls today. That's the only cool place where you can walk around in the afternoon in Phoenix right now. I see no sign of a slowdown in retail sales in Phoenix. People were shopping and buying stuff. I'm lookin for an LCD television. I really like my LCD monitor for this PC--clearer picture, doesn't attract as my dust, and generates less heat. It should cool off fairly soon out there.
