Anyone watching FNS? Pretty disgusting to see Hastert trying to avoid a direct answer to Brit's question about whether or not he would be joining Jefferson on his appeal. Hastert seems to think that there should be a "special" process for the FBI to follow before they go into the offices of a congressman to seize records. Hastert is arrogantly wrong about this.
Folks, you will just not believe Timmy this morning in his efforts to prove, I guess, that the Prez is inconsistent because he doesn't ban all research, including private efforts, that use embryos. He is completely stuck on the issue. Will not let it go. The dems (whose faithful worker Timmy is) obviously think that this is a winning issue for them. I think they are making a mistake. They are going to have to lie and mislead (which they are good at), so the pubbies are going to have to stay out there on this and keep correcting the record.
Timmy has lost this "debate" he created by his emotional loss of control. Josh bolton doing a great job tolerating this this immature boob.
Ok, and here comes an author who criticizes the War in Iraq.
Now Timmy will calm down and be all sweetness...no harranging here.
MTP
Tim barely contains his glee. He has a WP author of Fiasco on next. Fiasco is about the wrongs in Iraq.
Tim's doing his best to create illogic out of the President's position, while Bolton is clearly spelling out the logic which anyone can see, which Timmy insists on ignoring. Amazing.
It is getting positively surreal watching the American Junk media in action. They have positively lost what little minds they had left. If the Demos lose in Nov I don't think some of them will survive
Is is still permissable for Brit to slap Juan down when he is the moderator?
Watch the Jekyl and Hyde transformation. Here we go.
What time zone are you all in? I don't get the talk shows for prob another hour.
I left Timmy after Josh finished.
Now over at FNS hoping Kristol will do the slap-down of Juan this morning. Brit is moderating and "it wouldn't be prudent" for him to do so. Maybe Brit will ignore the rules and do it anyway.
Paul Gigot has already shot down one of Juan's statements about Israel destroying the Lebaneese government. WRONG...Gigot informed him that the Hezbollah was a state within a state trying to destroy it.
sounds right to me. Thanks for the explanation. Typical of our broadcast networks to ignore the real name of something in order to Americanize it so 'we won't get confused.' It both shows typical arrogance and, at the same time, shows contempt for the audiecne, assuming that we won't understand if they don't spell it out.
By the way, have either of you heard Robin Williams bit about the invention of golf? Lots of swear words and one of the most bizarre "Scottish" accent, but also one of the funniest things I've ever seen him do. He would have been right at home at one of the old "smokers" with that routine. I can imagine folks like Buddy Hackett and Redd Foxx laughing their... ahem... heads off. It was the kind of stuff they did behind closed doors in their hey days.
Geez, this is turning into the Juan show. Disgusting. Someone slap him down. He won't shut up. Is the rest of the panel drugged?
He [Timmy] is completely stuck on the issue. Will not let it go.
*****
Catholic guilt. As serious as liberal guilt. I bet Timmy was an altar boy as a child.
I hope some of you are now watching FNS.
Juan has taken the "Shep Smith" approach to TV news and is constantly interrupting other speakers, insisting his view is the only correct one, and keeps getting louder and louder.
Brit just called for a "cease-fire" and went to commercials. WOW!
If = When
It is going to get very ugly, because a percentage of Americans have convinced themselves that who hold office these days are not "really" elected, but cheated their way into office.
