Shep Smith reporting
Fox: third rail caught fire
Welcome to FR!
We usually comment on the commentators here...sometimes just as much as what they're commenting about:)
ME too! I love taking the train anywhere.
9-11 IS A GOOD EXAMPLE. When the plans were set, Atta called overseas. He described two things in this order: Two sticks and a cake with a stick hanging down. The two sticks were obviously the towers. The cake with the stick hanging down was the Capitol with the Capitol Mall leading to it. Written European or Military Style is 11-9. The attacks occurred between 9 am and 11 am.
Two lousey numbers and they designate the date, the targets, the order of attack and the hours of attack.
Yeah. The volts don't kill you, it's the amps.
I wonder about all of the other dates I posted. Maybe it means nothing. The only thing I think of when I think of the first week or so of the month is people get their govt checks. Unless there's some correlation between the corresponding Islamic dates? Take care and thanks for the info.
At least if it crashes, there's not so far to fall. ;)

I noticed that same part of the article. (o: You're right though, I think she was probably hearing the train slamming down onto the tracks at that point, especially with the confined quarters probably magnifying the sound. I would imagine if there had been an honest to goodness explosion we'd be hearing of a high amount of casualties, and not just smoke inhalation...
You'd rather rather?
Prolly at the scene, standing next to the third rail pointing at a burnt-out milk carton with his back to an express train roaring down the track at him. Jump, Shep! JUMP!!!
talked to my son last night. He rides the Blue line daily but west of where this happened. He said his train was stopped and delayed. Other than that, nothing.
is there a Chicago ping?
