That is a beautiful song, Visualops. Thank you for finding and posting it.
It brought more tears.
I'm so bummed that I had to go to that meeting tonight. It took so long and then had to go buy some groceries and that made me late getting home. Now I feel I've missed out on too much of Maggie's thread. Can we keep it going for a day or so?
She liked contemporary Gospel. She sent me a CD of Michael Smith. I would always post "Wind Beneath my Wings" for her, and another "I Hope You Dance". Thank you for posting the music for her.
I wanted to respond to your ping but I need to get of line...I loved Maggie's stories too...
Especially that one!
G'night.
I was headed off line & then I saw your lovely poem & pic for Maggie & Fam.
Had to say wonderful, just wonderful!
Thank you for that Victoria. We both love that song. She was the wind beneath my wings for the years I've known her.
May God forever bless her.
Nighty night.
You've posted some beautiful music tonight, Victoria.
I knew you would find perfect music for Maggie.
Goodnight and sweet dreams. Hope to catch you tomorrow.
Hi Nan, I have been reading the thread and responding as I go and jumped fwd to start working backwards. I have only gotten to 117 posts.
There is so much Love and wonderful tributes here to Maggie.
I will continue where I left off and the thread will continue on as far as I'm concerned.
How are you doing, OK?
7, the Lord number for completion. Amazing how He works things for His Glory. That was clearly a message from Maggie to comfort you. If you email me the pics, I will add them to the page I created for her. What ever you want to do with them let me know, K..
I will forward the thread to you via e-mail after I finish my last tribute for tonight. Thank you again for the Memories. She would have loved them.
Very nice Tribute
Thank you Mayor
LadyX spent the day with me at the Bridge. Here is part of an email to lonestar in March of 2004.
Have donated my body to The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, so medical students can benefit from seeing a badly flawed but tough body. I have been so very blessed by God... and will gladly go when He thinks it is time. The hard part will be when I am the one who has to decide to cease treatment, and let go, taking about 3 weeks to wind down - - hope I can do it well, with His strength and grace.....
All the hostesses and hosts know my situation, and about 50 others, so I am free to be honest with them. The wonderful prayer support is FELT and APPRECIATED so much!
I am indeed blessed. I might get to meet your Weinie before you see her, and convey your love...
And that's what we did. I sat in her lap and she patted me and she laughed when I licked her in the face.
LadyX and Gert, her stuffed purple gorilla, helped make me famous. But that's another story.....Weinie
One of the hardest things I did was to take those pics and crop, resize and put them together. It was tough with blurry eyes.
I just went outside and the moon is so bright, it is illuminating the houses and the sky. Perfect time for a Prayer. The thought came to me that Jesus surely said to Maggie, Well done my Faithful Servant.
I felt Maggie was watching me from above.. Comforting thought.
Mrs Mayor sent this VIA FRmail to Maggie a few weeks ago. I had to share it with you all.
Thank you all.
As I have done so many nights..
You realize that all of these tributes from loving friends and family constitutes a heavenly cloud of witnesses to commend her soul to Heaven!!!
Good night, dear Rus. You did a magnificent job of providing an outlet for us to give homage to such a wonderful woman and one of my military heroes as well. I keep expecting her to answer my posts. It's eerie!
Thank you for all your hard work.
