As designed would it bec considered an "improvement" and increase the value of the property?

It has been many times. The gist is that Simcox is misusing funds that were donated to build this fence when in fact a 4 foot high cattle fence was built.

>

He also failed to provide things promised to volunteers to get them to help. There were several minutemen volunteers and former officers interviewed along with a brief segment in which Simcox refused to address any of the charges.

Just like if you added an addition to your house, it increases the value of the house and the property it sits on, thus raising the property tax on that house.

Ranches are indeed private property. The Feds maintain an easement, but ranchers and property owners are free to fence their property. Unless of course I woke up in China this morning they are.

Of course our good friend Texasforever seems to have about as much respect for that old fashioned concept as the SCOTUS. See his above remarks to pollyanaish.

Correct. And when rich folks, who don't even farm the land, start building houses around you, it makes the land more expensive and harder to buy and sell.

No you didn't stutter.

They aren't building anything on the border. They're building on private property adjacent to the border.

It's a small yet critically important detail.

Simcox doens't base operation out of Texas. He's mainly concerned with Arizona. Texas has their own operation, apart from Simcox.

Right, they aren't. That's all a media photo opportunity.

One more time REAL slow, the ranchers can build a fence that is true. They are under the jurisdiction of local, state and federal codes when they build it. The Border is the responsibility of the US government and a rancher cannot construct a barrier for the sole purpose of stopping illegals that could result in their injury or death and one look at the simcox fence will show you that a pit with razor wire in the bottom is a human trap. Now go play Nintendo.

I don't recall seeing anyone build a booby trap. Nor do I recall anyone claiming to build any. If you have information to the contrary, please post it. Otherwise you're just making more silly, baseless comments which have no grounding in reality.

Simply put you're just being you. Amusing yes, in a sad pathetic sort of way; but not factual in the least.

there is NO simcox activity in Texas.

Well then Sparky why don't you do some quick research on AZ property laws and get back to us.

BTW, is Pence pulping the trees for paper or something? It's really taking him a long time for him to put that Plan Which Will Certainly Be Law By November on some kind of medium which holds ink.

Is he maybe going to do it on real sheepskin parchment? That might explain the delay if he's waiting for his sheep to mature or something.

I didn't know you were in the construction trade. That might explain your defense of criminal lawbreakers. Say, there's no chance you or a company you had something to do with employed folks who had no legal right to a job in this country is there?

I mean I'd really hate to think a fellow Freeper was involved in anything as unsavory as violating Federal laws. That'd just break my heart.

Can you cite a Federal Statute which says this for me? I'm a stickler for details like that. When someone makes such an assertion I, and many others on the forum, usually expect someone to back up such a goofy assertion with something that at least resembles a fact.

I'm sure anyone as bright as you should be able to do it real quick.

Now hop to it Skippy. Time's a wasting.

Several years ago out on the ranch I built about 1 and 1/2 miles of 5 strand fence with 2 and 3/8 oil field tubing as top rail and posts.

I dug the holes with a digger on the back of my front end loader, cut the posts, mixed the cement, set the posts, welded the top rail, stretched the wire and painted the thing for a hell of a lot less (about $5,000) than the amount of money Simcox has collected as donations.

At the time the only help that I could get was my three high school age boys and a part time neighbor on weekends.

The fence wasn't all that perty but those cows didn't mind one bit.

I hate to judge a book by the cover but Chris Simcox just looks like he might have a little larceny up his sleeve.

I hope he isn't committing fraud but this wouldn't be the first time money caused a good cause to go down because the people running the operation got greedy.

Just take a look at Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson to see how the pros blackmail and extort money in the form of donations.

Someone better notify every single used car lot on the west side of Chicago of this new Federal Law. They've all got fences topped with razor wire and usually a couple of Igors K-9 patrol dogs inside.

A quick Google search finds this company offering biting dogs for rent. That kind of puts the lie to your assertions.

If that won't result in 'injury or death' I don't know what would.

But if you can cite a Federal Statute to the contrary, I'm sure we'd all love to read it. So get to it Scooter. We're all waiting for you to demonstrate your uncanny knowledge of the US Criminal Code.

Do get back to us while we're all still young will you?

Thanks in advance.
