>WASHINGTON (CNN) -- FBI agents were raiding sites in Miami, Florida, on Thursday in connection with a domestic terrorism investigation, law enforcement sources said.
The FBI said one search warrant was being executed in the Liberty City area of Miami. Officials said no weapons or bomb-making materials had been found in the searches so far.
"We are conducting a number of arrests and searches, and we'll have more about that when the operation is completed, probably tomorrow morning," FBI Director Robert Mueller told CNN's Larry King in an interview to be broadcast Thursday.

Thanks, missed that
Miami's Yahweh Ben Yahweh cult, the most notorious sect of the Black Hebrew Israelites, was implicated in a reign of terror in the 1980s, and has now all but disappeared. But at its height, it controlled an $8 million empire of properties, including a Miami headquarters known as the ''Temple of Love'' and temples in 22 states. It left a track record of horrific violence, including the murders of 14 people.
Its doomsday leader, Oklahoma native Hulon Mitchell Jr. (known as Yahweh Ben Yahweh, Hebrew for ''God, son of God''), is in prison with six other sect members for conspiracy in connection with the murders. Mitchell ordered the slayings of black cult defectors to keep others in line, and the random murders of whites as part of an initiation to a secret ''Brotherhood'' within the temple. The killers, as proof of their deeds, often brought back severed heads and ears to Mitchell.

So what was the "catalyst" that which supposedly triggers such thuggery?
I guess the Carib came in as a 5 percenter convert.
I hadn't thought of that. Follow the money.
me and you both - I had my groceries delivered by Peapod that entire time so I wouldn't be a target in a parking lot.
Oh... this may help if you don't know...

Hmmmmm...wasn't Chuck Colson's evangelical prison ministry kicked OUT of prisons because of the ACLU??
I thought I read that...
If so...then the darned Wahhabists better be kicked out also.
Actually, Miami has 3 GOP reps, although one of them is near-RINO Ileana Ross-Lehtinen.
;) It happens...
But that's why I love FR..we check each other.
Good question.
I guess it depends on how they want to slant the story.
In 711 a Berber Muslim army, under their leader Tariq ibn-Ziyad, crossed the Strait of Gibraltar from northern Africa into the Iberian peninsula. Roderick, last of the Visigothic kings of Spain, was defeated at the Battle of Río Barbate. By 719 the invading forces were supreme from the coast to the Pyrenees. Their progress north was arrested at a battle fought in France, between Tours and Poitiers, in 732 by the Frankish ruler Charles Martel.
"Planning to hit the Sears Tower!!!!"
Many years ago, I worked in the Sears Tower. Like the Trade Towers, you have to go up one embankment of elevators and then switch to another set to get to the top floors. I worked on the 74th floor. The building has a built in sway (so it won't snap off), and on really windy days, some people would literally get seasick up there, as it swayed to and fro. Wouldn't take much to bring that building down. The view was great though. During the summer, when the air show would take place, it was like having a ringside seat. You'd see the flying wedge come so close by the building you could see the whites of the pilot's eyes (slight exaggeration). Sure glad there was no terrorism threat back in those days, and now I am safely retired, and living in the burbs, away from the City of Chicago and its inherent dangers.
We have a large Islamic population in this area, many in the City, and many in the near and further parts of the south suburbs. Just saw a huge new Mosque about a week ago that has been built in Orland Park. My friend lives in Tinley, and her neighborhood isn't too far from the Mosque. It's a new neighborhood of big houses, and now Arab families are buying into this hood in large numbers. A new family is moving in right next to my friend. She's not real happy because as she says, you can't tell the good ones from the bad. Arab families are moving in all around her. She's not pleased and I completely understand. I wouldn't be either. Maybe she should consider moving, as with the Mosque being only about 10 blocks away, her area will become more and more Muslim than it already is. And these are expensive homes.
But since we all know that because the first al Qaeda bombing of the WTC didn't work as well as they had hoped, they tried it eight years later and succeeded. This Florida cell planning on blowing up the Sears Tower, now, is in keeping with the way the damned Islamonazis work.
The Moors were North Africans, basically Berbers, like today's Moroccans, and were not Sub-Saharan Africans. They're two different groups. American blacks are descendants of Sub-Saharan Africans, who were and still are the victims of Arab and North African Muslims.
Sure not supporting CNN reporting of anything. Yuk.
If CNN said that water was wet, I'd have to rethink bathing.
aw jeez....WHY does a terrorist group in the US...need to have talking points from the libs???
You know...I wasn't shocked...but, I was sickened..when I saw that the WAR in Iraq...was being voted on according to party!!
The future of our country and our children/grandchildren are at stake...and the dems STILL would rather be against Bush/GOP..
For Olbermann to have that attitude within hours of the news...makes me sick.
