The FBI said one search warrant was being executed in the Liberty City area of Miami. Officials said no weapons or bomb-making materials had been found in the searches so far.
"We are conducting a number of arrests and searches, and we'll have more about that when the operation is completed, probably tomorrow morning," FBI Director Robert Mueller told CNN's Larry King in an interview to be broadcast Thursday.
A lot of inmates convert to Wahabism in jail. They have a very active evangelical movement going on with black Americans.

I have noticed that people who are/were Rastafarians around here (North Florida) seem to be getting into Islam. There's one who drives around with his dreads in that stupid looking wool cap Rastas wear - and he now has a bumper sticker that says, "Ask me about Islam." No thanks. But there does appear to be a Carribean connection with Islam now.

OFF TOPIC- Did John have the judge on? I heard him on The Big Story this afternoon- just back from GITMO- and boy oh BOY has he had a change of heart about it. He said they are absolutely evil people, and if we let them out- we can be sure they will continue to work on attacking the west.

October 1, 2001 — The FBI may have thwarted an attempted terrorist attack on the Sears Tower.
According to ABCNEWS, the FBI and federal agents made the discovery after arresting five people across the Midwest last week. One of the suspects was arrested in the Chicago area, three in Detroit, and a fifth person in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The FBI found materials on the suspects that indicate they may have been planning a truck bombing on the Sears Tower. Four of the five people arrested had fraudulent licenses to drive trucks carrying hazardous materials, agents discovered. The FBI and other federal agents also seized computer disks and drawings related to the Sears Tower, according to ABCNEWS.
The Sears Tower is the tallest building in the country.
Liberty City went ballistic because the Mariel Boatlift Cubans took center stage at the welfare office in Miami. The motorcycle shooting was just the warm up.
Motorist dragged from the car and beaten because they got off at the wrong exit and ended up in Liberty City.
