My wife has a neuromuscular disease. Thus far it has been diagnosed as Spinal Muscular Atrophy. This is a tentative diagnose and is as close as MDA has come.
She relapses and remiss ocassionally. The relapse are worse each time and the remissions are less complete.
On Monday she started to relapse with increased weakening in her lower legs. By Tuesday morning her legs were just about useless.
By Friday Morning her arms were weakened to the point that they became useless. At this point an ambulance was called to transport her to the hospital.
She has been admitted and they are working with her to get this to go into remission. Thus far the care has been spotty at best. The doctor is MIA and some of the nurses have attitudes.
Please pray:
That her care-givers would have true nurturer hearts.
Grace in abundance for my wife and I.
"I can't abide rudeness in a man." -Capt. Call.
That she might be moved to a rehab floor for better care.
That this will remiss quickly.
Prayers going out!
Prayers on the way
Prayers for you and your wife, Chris.
Prayers lifted for your wife -- and for you! -- that you both receive the care and consideration you need. (It's more difficult watching somebody you love suffer than to go through such trials yourself. May God help you find the strength you need and may He grant your wife a healing or remission.)
Praying for both of you.
God Bless your wife, and you, and the doctors that will treat her. In Christ's name, amen.
Prayers Up!
Prayers raised for your wife, please keep us updated.

You got it, neighbor.
May you receive God's peace and courage.

PRAYERS FROM THE NORTHERN FLOCK!
Chris, your wife and you are in my prayers. May God's strength fill you, may His comfort surround you, and may His wisdom guide the doctors and nurses that care for your beloved wife. May He ease the burden of worry on your troubled hearts, and heal completely your wife. Please know that we are here to offer prayers and comfort at any time. God's blessings to you and yours. Amen.
While I was out the first time, her Physiolgist/Neurologist came in and really got the ball rolling. By the time I had returned, the Speech Therapist, Physical therapist, dietician, RN, and aide had come in several times to make sure that she was getting the care that she needed.
The physiologist is moving her to rehab on Monday so that she can get the extended care she needs. The Speech therapist has scheduled another swallow test. The dietician more accurately has calculated dietary needs. The nurse gave her something stronger for pain, The PT moved her to a chair, and the aide washed and braided her hair. As of now, she has eaten some dinner, had her meds, and is resting comfortably (somewhat) in bed.
Also, by the time I had left the hospital the 2nd time, she had limited use of her hands and forearms and could carefully feed herself some pudding.
Thanks again to all that have prayed. God hears and answers.
And lastly, please forgive me for not answering each of you directly. It's late and I'm tired. I do appreciate your prayers though.
Prayers for good fortune and relief all around.
