05/01/06

Posted on 04/30/2006 9:38:02 PM PDT by Heartofsong83

This should be a list of who is planning to close their business on Monday, May 1 in response of the Great American Boycott. We should compile it and boycott them ourselves if possible!

Remember to go shopping or work overtime on May 1!

I've been watching this issue from out here in the sticks of Kansas for years, and during the last round of "Immigration Protest" the Kansas Dems finally figured out that this is the one issue that they could use to upset our traditional Red-State pre-disposition.

for example, the state dems are hammering Law & Order/Border Security
http://www.ksdp.org/?q=node/view/2203

Isn't it strange that in this election cycle Democrats have decided to be the party of Law&Order?

Meanwhile our Republicans here are talking about being a welcoming and loving nation that embraces all, despite their legal status!

WTF?

Watch how this issue plays out in Red States over the course of this summer and you'll see the end of a Republican Congress...

We did Walmart this morning for a few returns and purchases. You are right, it was very nice. And driving was pretty nice too.

I watched the march go up Market Street here in San Francisco. I was there only ten minutes and saw 3 Che flags. I am shocked!

I've heard lots of people say that, but when you cook with them every day and taste the difference, they don't compare.

I have to use twice the amount of yellow onion as white, for the taste I want. It's like they're all Mauis or Vidalias - which I love for certain things, but not for Mexican food.

You stated: "Yeah...Dodge made CBS evening news"

Yes that is true, but it was a photo op. They had a walk in the Park so to speak. All activity was planned to be outside school and working hours.

Did you see it? I didn't. Just read about it.

The epitome of all Mexican insults

I posted this article because many don't understand the significance of the picture of Mexicans raising their flag in the above picture. Well, theses ROTTEN BASTARDS mimiicked the raisng of the flag by U.S. Marined for the battle of Iwo Jima. That's how little regard they have for our country, and the precious people that fought and died for America.

D-Day February 19, 1945

Shortly before 2am on Feb. 19, 1945, the Navy's big guns opened up on Iwo Jima again, signaling the beginning of D-Day. After an hour of punishment, the fire was lifted, leaving Iwo smoking as if the entire island were on fire.

Both Americans aboard their transports and the Japanese in their caves looked to the skies now. One-hundred-ten bombers screamed out of the sky to drop more bombs. After the planes left, the big guns of the Navy opened up again.

At 8:30am, the order, "Land the Landing Force," sent the first wave of Marines towards the deadly shores. Once ashore, the Marines were bedeviled by the loose volcanic ash. Unable to dig foxholes, they were sitting ducks for the hidden Japanese gunners.

Heavy fire made it impossible to land men in an orderly manner. Confusion reigned on the beaches.

The battle was unique in its setting. One hundred thousand men fighting on a tiny island one-third the size of Manhattan. for 36 days Iwo Jima was one of the most populated 7.5 miles on earth.

Mt. Suribachi, the 550-foot volcanic cone at the islands southern tip, dominates both possible landing beaches. From here, Japanese gunners zeroed in on every inch of the landing beach. Blockhouses and pillboxes flanked the landing areas. Within, more heavy weapons stood ready to blast the attacking Marines. Machine guns criss-crossed the beaches with deadly interlocking fire. Rockets, anti-boat and anti-tank guns were also trained on the beaches.

Every Marine, everywhere on the island was always in range of Japanese guns.

The Japanese were ready.

More US Marines earned the Medal of Honor on Iwo Jima than in any other battle in US History.

In 36 days of fighting there were 25,851 US casualties (1 in 3 were killed or wounded).

Of these, 6,825 American boys were killed. Virtually all 22,000 Japanese perished.

The Marines' effort provided a vital link in the U.S.chain of bomber bases. By war's end, 2,400 B-29 bombers carrying 27,000 crewman had made emergency landings on Iwo Jima.

Exactly and the first thing that Bush and the Democrat congress will do is grant amnesty to the illegals. That will lock the Democrats into power for at least a generation.

I don't think that many realize how big the stakes are. Bringing up some temporary tax cut 4 years ago or the war in Iraq isn't going to save the republicans this year.

Give amnesty to the illegals and states like Georgia and Florida go Blue immediately.

I'm not certain of Don Tyson's current status. I know he was convicted of drug charges while Clinton was in office and was one of the people Clinton pardoned at the end of his term, but when Clinton was Gov. of Arkansas he was a frequent guest on Tyson's private jet where -- according to the book and the Telegraph articles -- the white powder was liberally passed around... this is all part of the connection with the runway in Arkansas where late night Columbian drops were famous and more than one person who got too close ended up dead or disappeared.

Rib Mountain?

And how I used to Love WI. I have spent more of my Vacation dollars there then I care to tell.

I have been reading the Green Bay and Appleton papers for a few years hoping to one day move up there. It sickens me the Liberalism that has got a stranglehold on this State lately. Now Wausau too.

Here's another low-key example the MSM is missing...

Here in Kansas Our Republican Jim Ryun beat Dem Nancy Boyda by 6 points last time around...she's running again. Only now she's added the "Border Security" to her speeches.

Saying:
"Big Business is addicted to cheap labor. They make huge profits from undocumented workers here illegally. They talk about national security, but clearly their greed for cheap labor comes before protecting our borders and our national security. This administration has let the problem fester by turning a blind eye to employers who hire illegal immigrants. We must make the penalty for hiring an undocumented worker so severe that no employer would risk it. And the best part…..this enforcement/verification system can be put together in fairly short order. Once enforcement is under control, then we make certain good hard working people have a clear path to guest worker status or to full citizenship status."

This part of her speech here got the biggest crowd response. Average Joe voter hears this and likes it, meanwhile Congressman Ryun is busy checking his speeches with Sen. Brownback and Cargill Industries.
When Boyda and the Dems take our seat in November, people will be surprised....but the writing is on the wall back in April.

of course, once elected she won't actually do anything about illegals or the border, but that was never the point!
