Update: CIA Officer Fired for Leaking Classified Info to Media

WASHINGTON — A CIA officer has been relieved of his duty after being caught leaking classified information to the media.

CIA officials will not reveal the officer's name, assignment, or the information that was leaked. The firing is a highly unusual move, although there has been an ongoing investigation into leaks in the CIA.

One official called this a "damaging leak" that deals with operational information and said the fired officer "knowingly and willfully" leaked the information to the media and "was caught."

I can imagine that, having had to have been working under Condi, they must've clashed. Condi may have contributed her background info in this as well. Thank God for the patriots in this government.

He was the number three person at the State Department. He has strong ties to Plame and Wilson and is suspected as being Wilson's source at State that told Condi to have the president correct the 16 words from the state of the union about Iraq attempting to buy uranium from Niger.

He is listed as a witness for the prosection against Libby.

This is how she confirms her story:

"Before going public with her name, NBC News reached McCarthy's husband, Michael. He said he could not confirm that his wife had been fired from her career post. He declined further comment."

THEN...she (Andrea) reports (this is just too good to picture mentally) "Priest said she could not comment on the firing, which she said she learned about from NBC News."

And for her FINAL hopeful blow to any speculation on our part as to the connections we are beginning to make on FR, Ms Mitchell concludes:

"This leak is not linked to the recent scandal in the CIA involving undercover agent Valerie Plame’s identity’s being revealed, NBC reported."

This just MADE MY DAY!
