At approximately 4:05 pm EST today, Sean Hannity's screener allowed me to be the second caller to pose a question to Sean Hannity on air.
When I heard my name and city announced and Sean said hello, I said good afternoon and stated "Sean, this will be the toughest question you've ever had to answer" and Sean said "have at it."
[my question follows]
"Sean, over the past many years, I've not heard you once, not one time - direct your listeners to go to our U. S. Congressional Record for the date of June 23, 1999. This date is the date of U S Senator Inhofe's Chinagate speech. Why haven't you been directing folks to this all-important Chinagate speech?"
Hannity replied -and I don't remember his exact response, but it was something like- "Well, I don't remember if I have or have not mentioned this over the past years...and I don't know why we have not followed up on this subject."
TOPICS: Crime/Corruption

Can you provide a URL for the speech. No, but he wants Sean Hannity to mention one to two times a week.

A retired President has more than enough pull to yank Hannity out of his soft seat and end his career in broadcasting. That's why. Put the bottle down!

Sean can't talk without flash cards.
He had no concept of what you were talking about.
He reads on the radio at a fourth grade level, trying to make it sound extemporaneous.

Sean was much too busy referring to Richard Dufuss.
That said, however, the topic of China-gate is much too broad and complex to be discussed on a show like Sean's.
Be a lot different if you the caller was the 'carpetkitten'.

Come on wake up. You try tackling one of the Clintons and see if your career doesn't come to a screeching halt.

You have it nailed in pointing out the depth of Chinese 'squeeze' at work among the self important and vain and venal beltway elites. It was great to see that quote from that sorry hack Shalikashvili. He knew when he was plucked from being a BG in northern Iraq handing out rations to the Kurds and pulled through one after another ever higher appointments who his Godfather was.
To: Sic Luceat Lux
You missed it. The public at large has NO CLUE about Chinagate! I agree with you, I understand what happened.
But if you expect Joe voter in 2008 to give a squat, you're in for a big surprise.
If she decides to run in 2008, we need to nail her on her record in the Senate, and use her radical speeches against her. Screaming "China Gate! 1998!" Isn't going to help at all.
To: Sic Luceat Lux
As you well know, the show is well screened. You were allowed on the air and spoke in language that did not make clear what it is you wanted to be discussed.
A few simple sentence about what it was the X42 did with regard to China and our secrets would have been informative.......keeping in mind that the purpose of the show is not to inform but to entertain.

You try tackling one of the Clintons and see if your career doesn't come to a screeching halt. Right. That's why that Rush guy...what was his name...yeah, Limbaugh...that's why he is off the air.

That looks more like a link for you. I'd lay you odds that Rush's net worth is 10 times what Hannity has. Big bucks can fight big bucks.

The clintonistas giving away our nuclear secrets to the chinese will haunt this country forever and if we don't pursue their punishment, who will. I know- - we all know. :*(
Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much and don't worry, if Hillary gets the Democrat nomination -the directions to our Congressional Record for this date, June 23, 1999 -will be made known - in cities all over the U. S. - and that's a fact!

Thank you for posting Inhofe's devastating Chinagate speech. This speech should be an ongoing thread again here at FR. / Bttt
