Think I'll just stick with SJSU & Stanford games from now on - football in its purer form.
The NFL needs to review how it grades officials.Only the conference championship games had refs I would condsider some of the better ones. The two weeks before that and today it was "How'd HE get here?" when the ref was announced-at least for me.
Exactly, had he not been touched it would be a fumble, since he was he was down, no fumble, can't fumble after you're down since the play is over at that point.
I think the Hawks have gotten a lot of respect already and will get more, especially if they do the smart thing and keep Alexander. The Vegas line after the Colts lost was AFC rep +3 over NFC rep, it didn't change when we knew the Hawks were the NFC rep so I think that means everybody saw them (at least after the fact) as the best of the NFC. The problem for the Hawks is the NFC isn't that good and doesn't get respect, that seems to be the only limit to the Hawks respect is that they're in the NFC now.
Did you notice there was no mention of Harvey Martin being co-MVP along with Randy "Manster" White?
You are obviously not paying attention. It's not only Seattle fans throwing the 15 yard BS flag on the zebras.
I have a "TIVO-like" device and we watched that over and over and over and over again and I defy anyone to tell me the ball even came close to breaking the plane...........the ABC commentators even were saying ti looked like a questionable call - even after review!
His comment: "You gotta remember -- there are three teams on the field."
Congrats to both teams, it was a good, exciting game (moreso towards the end). Both teams can be proud of their performances.
Heck, on Airliners.net we now have a Muslim terrorist lover as a head moderator.
It seems it is one of the very few things we disagree on my fellow freeper :). Who is your football team?
Why do you keep saying that when that is not shown in the thread? I have absolutely no interest in either team. You are just believing what you want to believe.
The defender did NOT move backwards; his feet did NOT move, nor did his body lean away from DJ.
They won. Every team has gimmicks -- they are sup[posed to pick up long yards.
Stuff happens -- STeelers won, Seattle lost, end of story.
BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! LIVE WITH IT FOR A WHOOOOOLE YEAR! (proably more -- Seattle won't have another fluke year like this for a loong loong time).
See you again (probably) in Superbowl XC
Sorry. I missed the NOT. Sort of important.
Yep.
I don't care about Seattle (and frankly was rooting for the Steelers) but the officiating? Questionable!
He moved the defender backwards, that's all it takes for a legitimate interference call.
I'm right there with you, baby. Luv ya!
Dont' we all?
ROFL!
Great analogy - and I TOTALLY agree with you! :)
