[history]
Good morning, all.
Join us today for the final victory lap, the vote to "confirm Samuel Alito, of New Jersey, to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court."
It's all over except the final vote tally.
Lots of surprises yesterday at the HUGE vote to impose cloture, so perhaps there are still some surprise votes to come?

Dingy is up now.
I'll keep track of his lies as he talks.
"serious concern"
"extreme agenda"
"raised my suspicions"
"sending signals" (tin foil alert)
"I fear"
"I'm disturbed"

Dems Good (in their eyes)
Reps BADBADBAD
Judge Alito makes all Dems concerned, puzzled, distressed, troubled, and every other synonym you can think of
Judge Alito to end all civil rights in the USA
Judge Alito in King George's pocket
Judge Alito hates women, blacks, disabled, and 10 year old girls
Reps: Let's get on with confirming this wonderfully qualified,
decent, much praised by his colleagues, impartial man!
You really haven't missed a whole lot. :-)

I think I am finally "getting it."
The Democrats think that if they keep rearranging the same words over and over, sooner or later they'll find the exact phrasing to make their specious arguments "click" with the "mainstream" and they will rise up and support the Dems in their quest for return to power!

Yes the web site is a left wing site. They wanted their Senators to abstain by going to Walter Reed. Only Harkin listened to them.

Couldn't agree more. He is the face of lib milk toast mediocrity and he needs to stay put. Of course having a Schumer or someone worse could only benefit our side. They just don't "get it"!
