Reid said they want an independent judiciary. They want a liberal judiciary that rules on ideological grounds not the law. That is what it all comes down to. All this other crap about Alito's views and rulings are just the smokescreen. Alito's only crime is that he wouldn't say that he would never overturn Roe v. Wade.
Reid is a hick and should really be back in the barn with a pitchfork rather than reading a canned speech from his more-educated staff.
