QUOTE OF THE DAY:
During an interview with the press corps on her plane, the First Lady discussed several topics, including the following:
Laura Bush begins visit to West AfricaACCRA, Ghana (AP) First lady Laura Bush said Sunday that the U.S. government is right to eavesdrop on Americans with suspected ties to terrorists, and that President Bush worries that revelations about the domestic spying program will cripple efforts to foil terrorists.
"I think the American people expect the United States government and the president to do what they can to make sure there's not an attack by foreign terrorists," Mrs. Bush said just before landing here to begin a four-day stay in West Africa.
"I think he was worried that it would undermine our efforts by alerting terrorists to what our efforts are," she said.
The Colts/Steelers was definitely a stunner, and so was the Bronco's victory over the Patriots! The Seattle/Redskins game was a great game, too, a very enjoyable football weekend, which (sniff) will soon be coming to an end...
Ugh! I like broccoli in some things, but not in a salad.
Hello Sara how are you have not seen you around for a while hope everything is alright?
You may be right about Barbara. She definitely is the more reserved of the twins. Weren't there stories last year about how Barbara wanted to do some work in Africa? Maybe she's doing some scouting for the right situation.
She has a lovely smile. Lights up the whole photo.
Good evening, Sara. Or is it early morning where you are?
I prefer it cooked but sometimes it is nice raw, I actually prefer cauliflower raw rather than cooked.
Without the Cowboys in the playoffs, I don't have a huge interest in the games. But I was glad Denver won because my best friend lives in Denver and is a Broncos fan.
How are you dear ("snugs")?
I am well. Thank you
Double ugh! I have to make myself eat vegetables and grass (my name for salad).
It is morning in Poland about 10 past 3 in the morning as it is 10 past 2 in the UK and Poland are one hour in front of us.
You may be right, actually. I have not followed news of the twins closely.
Good to hear you are OK
I am fine as well
What do you want on your toaster?
:}}}}}}}}}}}} How are you dear ("Wolfstar"), "I have to stay late for today. You will know why later." Thank you
