Day 4: Hearing Resumes
This morning, Senators will question Judge Alito during a third round. They will then go into a closed session, to review the FBI background investigation on the Supreme Court nominee. Outside witnesses may be called to testify this afternoon, as well as the American Bar Association, to discuss its recommendations.

They are delusional. They live in a universe parallel to ours.
Repugnant fools.
The sick underbelly of our society feeding off each other due to the internet.... the only real drawback to the net is how it allows the total whacko's and predators a forum.
Stands to reason when one is bent on using the judicial branch to establish law apart from the will of the people. That's another thing Democrats "stand for."
This Erwin Chemerinsky is a witness?

Erwin Chemerinsky: Hypocritical Partisan Hack

That picture looks to be about a year old, despite the fact he's got a Brady Bunch hairdo, and 1980's era glasses.

Hee hee hee
Thanks for the link, but I don't dare go to DU while I am at work. Something about rules against accessing sites laced with profanity. I could get in big trouble.
Being liberal is a mental illness. And those posts from DU are living proof.
I thank the Good Lord every day that Miers withdrew. What a mistake the President made on that one, but he recovered quite nicely with Alito.
Good grief, those whack jobs are not only hysterical, but evil. So much for the "tolerant" party. At least these beasts are exposing themselves...
bttt
Why is Erwin going to be a witness? The man will put them to sleep.
Let me guess... during the republican portions.
Alito I guess couldn't push this theory, but it has great merit. The Independent Council statute set up a quasi-executive branch of government, performing executive branch functions, but outside the perview of the President.
The constitution specifically requires that ALL executive branch functions be directly controlled by the president. It would be rational to argue that a president should be able to remove any executive branch employee as part of that power, which is why Leahy asked Alito about whether congress could pass a law establishing executive-branch independent commissions where the president could not remove the employees.
Heh heh heh. That's what I wondered.
Hugh Hewitt is sure to cover it on his show tonight. Every time that I hear the name "Irwin", I think of those stupidly funny "Sit n Sleep" commercials ("YOU'RE KILLING ME LARRY!")
I've suspected just that when she pulled out. W's administration just doesn't make those kind of mistakes. LOL
For those watching Fox..
A construction worker fell into a trench in NY. It's because Bush failed to spend money on trench prevention.
I hear there's going to be an intermission for mud wrestling. Got to keep this process dignified, ya know.
And CORRECTED that idiot. That angered me the most. Repubs act like they are afraid of the dems.
It was a RARE treat to see Spector b*tch slap Teddy the other day. Awwww....it felt good! LOL
