ALITO CONFIRMATION HEARINGS
Questioning Begins Today
Each of the eighteen senators on the Judiciary Cmte. will have 30 minutes to question Supreme Court nominee Samual Alito today during round one. Sen. Arlen Specter, as chairman, will begin, then they will alternate by party in order of individual seniority. Round two starts on Wednesday.
Now I will always see her as Muttley
I am sure there are plenty of women who will answer yes to this but as a woman in business, who has worked on Wall Street, I would say they are neither women I would now hire or do business with. I will ask you, if you had a daughter, would you like that to be the basis of her employment and the relationships in her business world?
The dishonesty of the Dems on this stuff is appalling. As was mentioned by Limbaugh, if Leahy doesn't want 10-year olds strip- searched, why doesn't he introduce a law making it illegal?. Doesn't Leahy care about 10-year-olds scarred for life by the experience?
Now the senators especially the rat ones have most likely not even looked at those notes their staff has prepared until the hearing...the rats are shooting from the hip...unprepared...
wow.
LOL. Rush has a new parody ad on Alito. Sammie "Big Gavel" Alito. LOL
Wish I'd caught the name of the democrat talking head who was on FOX. He really thought the dems were failing. He said they should move Schumer's time up so that he could help repair the damage. he said move Schumer up so his questions would make the evening news.
How desperate is that?
And for the record. I've lobbed lots of criticism toward republican senators. This morning, all of them have come a long way to redeem themselves in my eyes. Great preparation, great questions, and most EXCELLENT smack downs of the democrats. I'm loving it!
Did Kohl just say that the laws in the Constitution are ambiguous and open to many interpretations?!
Cool!
The other poster doesn't have a pic there, though.
And you'd qualify as "eye-candy", btw... ;-)
LOL. He thinks that will WORK??? LOL.
LOL! Yes, indeed.
That would be consistent with judicial activism
Or a McPainintheassets
Nap time....Kohl up...theman who gave Latrell Sprewell a contract..
I am totally understanding you...and I agree with you, but, I also believe, like I posted earlier...
That if I am comfortable with my own crediblity and ability, and it is a job I want, I would actually be flattered to know that my looks was a deciding factor.
I used to do some hiring...and I have to be honest...that when I hired guys...the looks wasn't the deciding factor, but did, sometimes, make the decision easier.
When I hired women, the looks NEVER that I know of, really entered into it...but, their personality (optomistic, fun)..did play a part.
I don't think one can divorce one's self from their visceral feelings about people given equal ability and experience.
LOL LOL LOL! Oh you are bad! LOL!
Alito taking Kohl to school on "social justice."
