Come and discuss.

Well, you make a good point.
Well Merry Christmas from Congress to the American people, what a bunch of ......... DOPES. Sigh! Thanks for the info. Bush should veto all of the crap and make them start over, McCain's included, especially McCain's.
These are the people running this country. Pretty scary.
I tell you what, none of their sorry asses would be going on winter (or whatever they're calling it),break... considering the Patriot Act expires in a few weeks.
This is serious, you don't play games with this. That and the fake spin on the NSA spying on citizens without knowledge crap. Might as well buy your burka.
Last night I had a big debate with the anti-Mexican coalition I don't see what the point of the borders is if the real threat comes from within. The New York Times sat on this story for over a year? It really makes me throw my hands up. At least now I have no reason to feel guilty about not having any money to send.
OK I understand that Frist's vote was a parlimentary thing, but what's up with Craig, Hagel and Sanunu?
Well I have to go back to work. No Burka for me, I'd rather be a martyr.
Levin was livid last night too over this McCain bill.
they are simply the latest republicans the Dems and the media have convinced to wear the knee pads, to make it onto the Sunday talks shows, etc.
McCain can't do everything himself you know, its hard work undermining a republican administration, everybody needs a break once in a while.

See the discussion relating to Section 218.
What's with the Hannity hints of "trouble for a certain man in San Francisco" and Levin's coy remark about "Wiener nation?"
On the pretense that the administration requested the story not be published. If that pretense is factual, it means the administration was aware for a year that NYT had the story.
I think Mark Levin has a good handle on this matter - the executaive authority was granted in good faith that warrants would issue. The FISA courts are apprantly s.l.o.w., but the outcome of their process is almost forgone. That is, warrants issue upon application, they are just s.l.o.w. about it.
Thanks, that clears it up a bit more for me.
What's up with the Savage Nation?
That Schu didn't know how to vote the night before the Patriot vote shows how weak on defense he really is. That his vote would be swayed by the NYT shows how anti-American he is. For the NYT is anti-capitalism and anti-American. It is pitiful that a Senator representing a 9-11 target would vote against the Patriot Act. He is a disgrace. If he is so concerned over the rights of private citizens, why isn't he demanding that the Barrett Report be released. Now there is a real abuse of government power.
Not to be missed, the Levin Thread for tonight:

Amen!
Switching...
And he is a liar. He knew how he was going to vote, and he knew that the story was going to be published. He had his little speech planned.
I don't know. Mr. Hannity's and Mr. Levin were discussing things in general when -- I believe I heard correctly -- Mr. Hannity said something about "trouble for a certain man in San Francisco." Mr. Levin let it pass.
I remember thinking, Uh oh, Savage competes with Levin. Does Mr. Levin have a new book? Some dirt? What? Then I thought, Nah, it got to be about the recent police video "scandal" or any number of crazy things -- it's San FRancisco!
A couple of minutes later Mr Hannity said something like, "Come on. Don't you want to talk about it?" and I believe Mr. Levin replied, "You mean about the Weiner nation."
Could be Mr Levin had his competitor on his mind and was just making a joke to deflect the real subject.
We have enough trouble without two outstanding personalities going after each other openingly. I hope that there's nothing brewing -- but talk radio is first and foremost about business followed by egos -- and Savage is no shrinking violet when comes to either of those.
