VIDEO: DEATH TO PEACE ACTIVISTS IF DEMANDS NOT MET
Kidnappers Threaten to Kill Iraq Activists
Dec 02 3:52 PM US/Eastern
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Al-Jazeera television broadcast a videotape Friday in which kidnappers of four Christian peace activists threatened to kill their hostages unless all prisoners in U.S. and Iraqi detention centers are released. The kidnappers gave the two governments until Dec. 8 to meet their demands, Al-Jazeera quoted a statement delivered with the tape as saying.
The tape showed what the broadcaster said were two Canadian hostages. An American and a Briton are also being held. All four appeared frightened.
The Canadians were shown eating from plates of what appeared to be Arabic sweets. In a second clip, the British and American hostages were shown to talking to the camera but no audio was transmitted.
The two were calling on the U.S. and British governments to withdraw from Iraq, Al-Jazeera reported, quoting a statement from the kidnappers, who earlier identified themselves as the Swords of Righteousness Brigade
Imagine there's no country,
And no religion too..."
What's truly sick about this is the hostages probably 'understand' their captors, and blame Bush for their actions. "It isn't their fault".......
Hopefully the video of the beheadings will be available for schadenfreude purposes!
You're right. My sister just told me she heard an NPR broadcast saying it was Bush's fault! Ah, the feeble minds of liberals. Even a good beheading won't make them get real.
I'm sure that they were rather die than have the marines hurt the poor insurgents.
Someone, somewhere, will use your post as an example of all of us, on Free Republic---and in the conservative movement generally.
You don't speak for me, that's for sure.
LOL...
They'll probably have their stooges do it for them. :D
This thread needs to die. That's how I really feel.
Really? First, let me say how much that upsets me. I can barely type through the tears. So, I guess you would not be joyful at the death of Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, Bin Ladin? Interesting that ALL human life is equal to you. Even though the position taken by these "peace activists" is costing the lives of our service men & women because they and their ilk try to weaken our moral standing in this war and lift the enemy's morale while our soldiers are in the field of battle. I am ashamed of you and those like you who would even consider the lives of 100 of these collaborators equal to JUST ONE of our warriors. Are you praying every night that al-Zarqawi is "arrested" rather than blown to pieces so that he can live a long life? If not, you certainly don't want him KILLED do you?! Oh, how shameful to think that way!
We're at war, in case you hadn't realized it and if the enemy is stupid enough to kill their own collaborators, all the better. Or do you really believe these are trueChristians with no anti-American agenda? If you believe that, I have some beautiful beachfront property in Afghanistan I want to sell you.
Good. We didn't want these clowns anyway.
Nor would I want to. Read post #232. Welcome to the war that started back in the 80's my friend. "Maybe if we all talk really nice about our enemies, liberals will think we really are nice after all." Please, spare me. That's worked so well in the past for conservatives.
I love it!
Or maybe they will get really lucky and enough of their bodies will be found so that their families can have a funeral.
Just makin a play on words; but thanks for the pic. :) Do those make good lures? |
As a youngster, I used a shad "jitterbug" lure that stopped a lot of bass, but had no effect on (the infidel) bluegills.
Again, my mind goes off in a different direction...What IF
these "peace activists" actually were spies? I know it seems far out...but maybe not.
