CNN MARKS CHENEY: NETWORK FLASHES 'X' OVER VP'S FACE DURING LIVE SPEECH
**Exclusive**
At 11:04:45 AM ET Monday CNN was airing Vice President Dick Cheney's speech live from the American Enterprise Institute in Washington -- when a large black 'X' repeatedly flashed over the vice president's face!
The 'X' over Cheney's face appeared each time less than a second, creating an odd subliminal effect.
As this DRUDGE REPORT screen capture reveals, while one 'X' flashed over Cheney's face CNN ran a headline at the bottom of its screen: "CHENEY: I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS WRONG TO CRITICIZE."
One top White House source expressed concern about what was aired over CNN.
"Is someone in Atlanta trying to tell us something?"
A CNN spokesman did not return repeated calls late Monday night.
Developing...
I just read that...if it is something subliminal... they will have to deal with the FCC... any type of subliminal work is illegal...
Cheney: I do not believe it's wrong to criticize...
No, someone lets their visceral hatred show.
vaudine
I wonder if you could take the pic and reverse the colors in photoshop or such? You know, make it a negative? Then those words should be white against a darker background?
If it is a 'wonder' that CNN even broadcast Cheney's speech; then it should be even less of a 'wonder'; that the X appeared; whether by 'mistake' or joke' or otherwise.
Whatever. . .the real wonder should be, that CNN has any viewers left. But that 'wonder' of course, is just wishful thinking.
When will our enemies in the terrorists networks reallize they do not have to lift a finger to destroy America. . .we have citizens, right here at home; willing to do the job for them.
Tomato... tomatoe
"Probably just an honest mistake..."
Marijuana is illegal.
We've blocked CNN on the cable box...that's our "X"
Playing with the brightness and contrast with Kodak software, it looks like the writing is upside down. Over the stock market gizmo in the lower right of the tv screen it looks like --big- where the "-" are letters I cannot discern. Maybe it says "big time!" :)
What? Commie News Network (formerly Clinton News Network, and probably future Clinton News Network) is using subliminal messages to provoke their audience against Cheney? Nah!
These socialist morons have gone completely off their rockers! Constantly losing is just too much of a shock to their systems, apparently.
Remember the hell that the left raised when they freeze-framed a Republican advertisement in the middle of a text fade-out of the word Democrat? The frame they chose was where "Demo" had faded out in a left-to-right sweep, leaving the word "rat" on the screen for one frame.
Reckon they'll raise cain over this repeated defacing of the VP?
Virtualdub free (but great) video editing program has a built-in filter to do that, it's called 'invert', which reverses the colors. It does look really weird, but you get the most interesting effects with anime and other types of animation.
>>>The 'X' over Cheney's face appeared each time less than a second, creating an odd subliminal effect.
Technically not subliminal. A subliminal message is a signal or message designed to pass below the normal limits of perception. For example it might be inaudible to the conscious mind (but audible to the unconscious or deeper mind) or might be an image transmitted briefly and unperceived consciously and yet perceived unconsciously.
start with the word over LIVE TODAY and maybe we can work backwards... It is almost visible. looks like DRIU or O something...
Reminds me of the other episodes of suggesting harm against George Bush by the MSM: the graphic of Bush in the crosshairs and the "Sniper Wanted" caption.
Wouldn't it be cool if they pulled their license?
This would pass way below the normal limit of perception of most demonrats... they are not the brightest bulbs..
tiki! Don't tease me like that...! :)
Yes, same kind of thing.
