Amen, dear Lady. Texas Cowboy is Beholding Wonderous Things at this Moment, and is Safe Within our Christ's Embrace.
My Prayers are Arising for Faith, and for Everyone who Loved him, that our God will Cover them with His Comfort.

I once did know a President,
Away down South, in Texas.
And, always, everywhere he went,
He saw the eyes of Texas.
The Eyes of Texas are upon you,
All the live long day.
The Eyes of Texas are upon you,
You can not get away.
Do not think you can escape them
At night or early in the morn-
The Eyes of Texas are upon you
'Till Gabriel blows his horn.
Sing me a song of Prexy,
Of days long since gone by.
Again I seem to greet him
And hear his kind reply.
Smiles of gracious welcome
Before my memory rise,
Again I hear him say to me,
"Remember Texas' Eyes."

I think I had played that song, remembering tha night he played it, earlier on his prayers thread. And last night it seemed so appropriate. I will truly miss him.

TC now free of pain and walking with Christ on those wonderful streets of gold TC is a Marine, he's now helping to Guard those streets. He's also comforting those of his Brother Marines who were recently taken so long before their time, missing the joys of spouses, children and family.

Thanks for posting this B4. I'm still kinda in a "state of shock" over his passing.......
I wish I had the words to truly express how I feel.......
Here is a
Link to some "good natured banter back and forth" between the two of us........
It's hard to believe he's gone......
Rest In Peace TC
Old Pard......

He certainly was a good friend. We talked about Chief Negotiator on the phone quite a few times. It's a shame that he died the way he did! Both of them were fine men.

Sad. But that makes me think: Some of us crazies should meet up before one of us gets off the planet, too.

I was thinking about Chief Negotiator the other day. I had copied his thread about being rejected for duty in the Marines because I was so moved by it. When I read of his death the following morning, I was just so shocked, because I had read and downloaded the thread within minutes of when he died. Was there ever any final determination of just what happened?

Such sad news. TC was a great soul, a caring friend, a really decent man who had time for everyone. I'll never forget all the help he gave me, counseling me
about my son's problems. I'll miss his strong voice and warm heart.
Condolences to his family and to all who love him.
TC, you'll always live in our hearts and in the compassionate heart of Jesus. May angels guide your journey to your Heavenly home.
