LOL! Better address that request to null and void. I'm curious, too.

Following that bit of advice has gotten us into all kinds of hurt later on...Yep. That's why the statement is so affecting. To hell with that friendship crap; it blinds you to problems and possible treacheries.

There have been a lot of "foreshocks" around Tokyo lately.
Tokyo Bay is due for another big one any time now. The last big one in 1923 killed 140,000 people (fires mainly.) Major earthquakes (7.0 or better) hit the bay every 100 years or so.)

Is this quake yet another preview of the predicted "Big One" which shall one day, devastate both Yokohama & Tokyo?
Waiting for the Big One: Tokyo's Grand Reconstruction Plan
From the link:
"It is a plan for a new city, predicated on the wiping out of the old. It assumes a 7.2 magnitude quake, that will destroy large parts of the city. The blueprint takes it more or less for granted that the city will be devastated. Though it is not clear who wrote the report itself, it is certain that Ishihara had a hand in it. And how well this critique meshes with his statements on the state of Tokyo . . ."
The Tokyo government plan allows for a 7.2 quake, but what if the "Big One" is over 7.5?

Let's get this over with: Bush's fault. Nice double entendre, given that we're discussing an EARTHQUAKE. (You know...like "San Andreas" and all...)
Cheers!

And while we're at it, let's remember that a fault is a DIVIDING line...proving to the DU crowd that Bush again lied about being "a uniter, not a divider"
Full Disclosure: DU-issued Tinfoil hat OFF. :-)

Thank you, Velveeta, I had never met one before my ex wife. I think Velveeta's momma and poppa put a curse on her and that's why she had the weight problem her whole life, see, when she was born she was kind of blocky, like a block of Velveeta and she weighed about 13#. I think Velveeta has had personal "issues" her whole life, being named after a block of cheese and all.
But I still loved her with all my heart, until her and Maurice ran off together and left poor old Delmont in the lurch.
