You may mean an example like " The Wall Within", a "documentary" shown in 1988, just before elections, by CBS and no other than Dan Rather.
Rather searches and finds six Vietnam vets who are still suffering because of the unspeakable atrocities they committed in Vietnam.
This "story" went on for a full hour.
One BIG problem. It was all a FRAUD, or perhaps a "forged" story.
B.G.Burkett(no not that Burkett), in his book, Stolen Valor, tracked these "vets" down....and you'll never guess....5 of the six had never been to Vietnam, and the 1 who had was never in combat.
When Burkett confronted Rather with these facts, Rather's response was...you guessed it....WE STAND BEHIND THE STORY.
I think it goes beyond the "do no wrong" idea.
I think that she is continuing the negative propaganda against, might as well lump it together, us, even at the risk of ridicule. She's still pushing her agenda even though her main outlet is blocked.
Remember Hillary complaining that because of Fox News and Rush and FR, "they" could not get their message out? Mary is still trying to get hers out, even though us unfree thinkers here dump on her.
