1) less than 10% of the vote has been counted!

2) I think 76 was more important than 75.
Without 76 passing, california is financially doomed thanks to the outrageous pensions davis put in place.

This is good. 75 is still passing by a good margin!

"I think this is a different site with results "

Thanks for good site. At 11:36 PM, 11/8/05, looks like the Unions will lose (that Prop is leaning Yes, which is good) but the Redistricting will also lose (leaning No, which is bad.)

Mixed results, but I'm guessing Arnold is ahead. Redistricting prop would be fantastic, but revolutionary. I think redeistricting should be done by a simple, politics-neutral computer program---the program itself written into law and made public before passage of the law.

My 11 year old asked me what the propositions were about. I told him. After I told him about 73 he asked why anyone would be against that.

I'll tell the Unions to do that depending on how this night plays out...

74,75,76, and 77 where Arnie's initiatives.

74 and 75 look like they are going to pass. Its not a slam dunk victory by Arnold, (2 out of 4) but even if those two pass, he's getting positive things accomplished that never would of happened under Gay Davis.

And 75 is the big one.

I'll take 2 out of 4 in California. And I agree, the Union one is the biggie.

Prop. 76 had built-in borrowing. It wasn't a real spending cap and 77 - while voters like the idea of ending gerrymandering, who trusts judges?

Not the end of the world. The HJTA will come come back in the future with a real spending cap amendment. Let's remember this is a state in which a property tax limit was defeated in 1973. Five years later, voters approved Proposition 13.
