Someone said that if redistricting won, the other measures would right themselves. I was hoping it would pass. The left did a great job of demonizing the judicial aspects of the district maping.

What I had not realized, was that judges were redistricting as late as 1991. The concept of judges doing this is not foreign or new, as sold by the left.

I will fault Schwarzenegger for not doing a better job of coming out and clarifying the issues.

What I hope comes from this, is a labor union climate that ses them go bankrupt from the overspending, and that union members fees go up so dramaticly, that they finally get it.

Let the bastards go broke from their union brothers and sisters mismanagement. I would love it.

The red counties I checked are passing 73, 74, 75 by a higher percentage than the overall vote so far. Orange county is passing them all except 79 and 80.....Red to the core.

Naw, I would not say all jive. Since 1994 the (D)s have really ramped up their absentee voter drive.

or probably even to have the school nurse dispense an aspirin to them for gods sake!

All meds have to be held in the office. No exceptions - including asthma inhalers.

Given the power the Left has here - you can imagine the crowing if they had buried the Governator. And what they have to show for it after tonight is an empty bank account. That leaves them weakened heading into the mid-term elections in '06. I wouldn't write Arnold's political obitury just yet as so much of the state's establishment and press was wont to do.

Those who favored 78, rather 79 are perfectly happy to see both of them lose.

Exactly right in my case. I voted for 78 just to forestall 79, but I would prefer 78 to fail as well.

Exactly, I still voted yes as I think the 3 judges are better than letting those elected decide.

There must be some mathamatical equation to divide the state into voting districts in a fair way. Some sort of grid that actually makes sense.

I see George Soros is getting his head handed to him in OHIO according to NewsMax...

Yep Moveon.org initatives 2-5 in Ohion are failing, not even close. Just came from checking the results. 70%-30, the other are in the 60% rejection range. The two that are in the 70s for rejection are the redistricting and the pay back Ken Blackwell by eleminating his job ones.

I think I made a terrible mistake.

I voted "YES" on Props 78 and 79. At the time, I didn't understand the ramifications of higher health insurance costs if these pass!

At least they're going down in flames.... :-)

I voted NO on both 78 & 79. They were both bad ideas.

You are correct. The large metropolitan counties have mostly just reflected early counting of absentee ballots. These numbers are way too early to get exited about.

It was a dumbass redistricting plan that would put democrats in charge for life. It was paid for by out-of-state liberal groups, especially Move On. Org. It appears the voters aren't interested - again. The liberals reeeeeally wanted a complete commie take over of Ohio.

Yes. Looks like the teacher's measure will be close. I think the parental notification measure and paycheck protection will win hands down.
