It is now getting dark in Paris and in all of France(appx. 6:40 PM Paris Time), and if there are any French FR lurkers(lurquers), this may be the thread to post your reports about any further violence.

It seems the French govt. is impotent in it's response to what seems are jihadist thugs and it seems the American media has put a news blackout filter to what is really happening, so as not to embarass their heroes, Chirac et al.

So any news reports or personal reports from what happens tonight are welcome, and don't worry about broken English, reports in French are welcome also, I have no doubt someone can translate.

I really dread putting up a live thread about such a matter, but it seems that the American MSM is following French govt. orders to play down to what it seems is an insurrection.

You are so right. If the story doesn't make Bush look bad, the MSM isn't interested. However, if things in Paris go from bad to worse, they'll drag Bush into it somehow....he didn't offer enough aid, he didn't do enough, it was the Iraq war that upset the Arab 'street', etc.. And Hill and the rest of the usual suspects will chime in ad nauseam.

When ever the MSM can report something to hurt Bush, watch their body language sometime. You will notice how they lean forward to get their message out. When ever something is favorable of Bush they are more reserved when they report it. Watch sometime and you will see what I am talking about.

Yes, people talk in low voices....to say what you think aloud in Europe will get you to court for racism or Islamophobia.
When you say the Muslim have no Hitler, I think they have not one but many.
All the Lefties and the likes of Chirac, who support the Palestinian cause are little Hitlers.
Chirac is the leader in Europe who hates America and Israel the most.....He is so corrupted by money from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Lybia, Morocco and others, he has sold France to Islamists and the rest of Europe.
Here in Sweden we are having also many problems in MALMO with Muslims, but our lefty governmemt does not allow us to complain either.
Living in Europe has become a nightmare.... Freedom of speech is non excistent, the media is so much on the left, it is like communism.

About this time last night I was reading reports that it was a "200 car night" and the French foreign office was saying the press was overblowing the situation and things were getting under control.

Well today we find out it was a "900 car night", plus a couple of warehouses and nursery schools, etc.etc..

We'll see tomorrow, I guess.
