Paris/France burns, Live thread (night #10)

Posted on 11/05/2005 9:39:59 AM PST by Dane

It is now getting dark in Paris and in all of France(appx. 6:40 PM Paris Time), and if there are any French FR lurkers(lurquers), this may be the thread to post your reports about any further violence.

It seems the French govt. is impotent in it's response to what seems are jihadist thugs and it seems the American media has put a news blackout filter to what is really happening, so as not to embarass their heroes, Chirac et al.

So any news reports or personal reports from what happens tonight are welcome, and don't worry about broken English, reports in French are welcome also, I have no doubt someone can translate.

I really dread putting up a live thread about such a matter, but it seems that the American MSM is following French govt. orders to play down to what it seems is an insurrection.

The post you cite appears to be the work of a French apologist or disinformationist.

Try this info from The American Thinker blog:

MSM blackout on the intifada in Denmark

It’s not just Paris. Successive nights of riots have rocked parts of Århus, the second largest city in Denmark. Little to nothing has appeared in the English language press about the second front in the Eurabian intifada. Århus is home to an excellent Danish university, and is a place where I have spent some time. It is usually spelled “Aarhus” in English.

Fortunately, Hendrik, The Viking Observer, has translated in his blog a press account from Jyllands-Posten, a Danish newspaper which has been the target of Muslim protests for publishing drawings of the prophet Muhammad.. A few excerpts:

Rosenhøj Mall has several nights in a row been the scene of the worst riots in Århus for years. “This area belongs to us”, the youths proclaim. Sunday evening saw a new arson attack. Their words sound like a clear declaration of war on the Danish society. Police must stay out. The area belongs to immigrants....

Four hours after the short meeting, Falck (Danish privat emergency service – Henrik) sent a group of fire engines under police escort to the nursery Kjærslund on Søndervangs Allé, right across the street from Rosenhøj Mall. Gasoline through the windowA window had been shattered at the back of the house, and the fire had been blazing, apparently because of gasoline poured onto the floor, then lit. Falck stopped on Viby Square, a couple kilometers from the site of the arson attack, waiting for the police to turn up so they could be escorted to the nursery. Two nights earlier, other Falck-employees were threatened, when they were covering up broken shop-windows. Cobblestones had smashed the shop-windows from one end of the mall to the other. The police wrote in their report saturday night, that the youths had their stones with them in bags, when they came to Rosenhøj....

He calls himself 100 percent Palestinian, born in a refugee camp in Lebanon 19 years ago, and now out of work in Denmark.“The police has to stay away. This is our area. We decide what goes down here”.

The MSM has done everything possible to minimize the Islamicist nature of the violence in Europe, and has blacked-out coverage of the Danish front. Here is another example of how the blogosphere has become essential to an understanding of the realities of the world.

"Tommy can you hear me?..."

Excellent analogy. Like "Tommy," the French are, indeed, deaf, dumb and blind.

Oh I can see the Euros giving up their countries to the Islamo-Fasists. But their map has half of China colored green. No chance. They win the demographic war with Europe but China is resorting to forced abortion to keep is population from overflowing. And the one thing about the Chi-Coms that we learned in Korea is that they have no problem throwing away a few million of their people to hold a line drawn on a map. Of course the Chi-Coms and the Islamo-Fasists killing each other off has only one major requirement for the United States. Lots of Popcorn.

That picture is scary. Reminds me a little of the crowds when the Nazis marched in. Different faces, color instead of black and white, but similar mood.

Well the time in France is 8:30PM and nothing reported yet. Looks like the rioters took a night off or maybe the riots have been finally quelled by the French.

Info from Last Night...

Paris Riots Spread To More French Cities
KOCO Ch.5 - OKC - 11/05/05
AUBERVILLIERS, France -- Widespread riots across impoverished areas of France took a malevolent turn in a ninth night of violence, as youths torched an ambulance and stoned medical workers coming to the aid of a sick person. Authorities arrested more than 200 people, an unprecedented sweep since the beginning of the unrest.
Bands of youths also burned a nursery school, warehouses and more than 750 cars overnight as the violence that spread from the restive Paris suburbs to towns around France. The U.S. warned Americans against taking trains to the airport through the affected areas.
(...)Fires and other incidents were reported in the northern city of Lille, in Toulouse, in the southwest, Rouen, in the west and elsewhere on the second night of unrest in areas beyond metropolitan Paris. An incendiary device was tossed at the wall of a synagogue in Pierrefitte, northwest of Paris, where electricity went out after a burning car damaged an electrical pole.
(...)The Interior Ministry operations center reported 754 vehicles burned throughout France from Friday night to Saturday morning - three-quarters of them in the Paris area.
Arrests were also up sharply, with 203 people detained overnight, the center said. By comparison, Interior Ministry Nicolas Sarkozy said Thursday that police had made 143 arrests during the whole first week of unrest.
(...)The persistence of the violence prompted the American and Russian governments to advise citizens visiting Paris to avoid the suburbs, where authorities were struggling to gain control of the worst rioting in at least a decade.

They dare not. The invaders can only achieve their aims through political means, as I see it.
If they tried an uprising, they would find "...a rifle behind each blade of grass."

The trouble is, that's precisely what these scumbag instigators want...
They initiate violence so they can whine about how "oppressed" they are when force is used to subdue them.

The new capitol should be named in honor of the local population. Surenderstan or Wiimplamabad.

A few French have the right idea, but the mayor quickly denounces them:

"Some residents, gathered at the school gate, demanded that the army be deployed, or suggested that citizens band together to protect their neighborhoods. Mayor Alain Outreman tried to cool tempers.

"We are not going to start militias," he said. "You would have to be everywhere."
