Violence broke out in impoverished Paris suburbs for the seventh straight night, with rioters clashing with police and leaving a trail of torched cars and vandalised buildings.
Observers are pointing to France's failure to address deep problems of poverty and immigration, including tensions with its Muslim minority.
In Aulnay-sous-Bois in the worst-affected area of Seine-Saint-Denis, a police station was briefly besieged by gangs of youths while a gymnasium and a garage were set ablaze and a commercial centre vandalised.
A total of 40 vehicles, including two buses, were torched before midnight in nine towns in the Seine-Saint-Denis area, a high-unemployment largely-immigrant region. Police made 15 arrests.
Two primary schools were also damaged in the area northeast of the French capital.
The riots started last Thursday following the accidental electrocution of two youths, aged 15 and 17, who had scaled an electrical relay station's walls to escape a police identity check in Clichy-sous-Bois.
The firing of a police tear gas grenade against a mosque in Clichy-sous-Bois during clashes on Sunday also sparked rage in the suburb's large Muslim community.
See, appeasment works. The dhimmis of Europe are doing just fine.

The French special police , the CRS. are totally capable of handling these riots. They are equipped with full riot gear, body armor and machine guns.
The government is afraid of these Islamists. Afraid they will attack,commit terror, etc. They are afraid to punish lawlessness for fear there will be retaliation. There are debates on in France now with the Left condemning the government for calling the rioter sand looters "criminals" and "delinquints".
Maybe they should all sit down for tea and talk it through Shame on them.
They have never learned that appeasement never works.
Not many do. Unless we keep up our appeasement activities why we might start seeing dandelions in our yards and diaper rash on our kids.

in impoverished Paris suburbs.This is crap,they are living better in these areas then any city in North Africa. Many of these people are arabs from the big cities of North Africa.They brag when they go home with their french "ladies" how much better off they are.If they are so impoverished I would expect them to take this downtown and thats when the fun will really start,big time.
Once again the Moslems cost Europe more unrest and violence.
When will they learn to quit the liberal B.S. and treat them as the enemy's of the State they are.
Maybe they should hire GW to learn how.

Many muslims enter Europe legally since many European countries have far more lenient immigration laws. Many muslims in Europe are hard working and loyal to their new country. Lastly, most European countries barely have forces that could realistically be called armies.
I hope it is correct that most muslims are loyal to their adopted countries if not its gonna be ugly

How long before they decide to bomb establishment targets? Perhaps a few roadside bombs? CNN ran a puff piece on this last night interviewing various French Muslim bigshots, who said they were French first and Muslims second. (There's a whopper.) All they demanded was a fair slice of the pie, recognition, respect, decent living conditions, good jobs, yada yada yada. Evidently CNN is buying this nonsense.
I bet many of these Muslims are delusional enough to believe they are on the verge of creating an Islamic state in France.
"They have no work. They have nothing to do. Put yourself in their place," said Abderrahmane Bouhout, president of the Clichy-sous-Bois mosque, where a tear gas grenade exploded Sunday evening. Local youths suspected a police attack, and authorities are investigating.
The violence cast doubt on the success of France's model of seeking to integrate its large immigrant community — its Muslim population, at an estimated 5 million, is Western Europe's largest — by playing down differences between ethnic groups. But rather than be embraced as full and equal citizens, immigrants and their French-born children often complain of police harassment and of being refused jobs, housing and opportunities.
"No matter what the politicians say, some neighborhoods are all but lost," said Patrice Ribeiro national secretary of the Synergie police officers' union.
