Well, to cheer you up, William Shatner is an ecto-jerk prima donna (actually, so was Kirk, if you think about it: good typecasting), but he definitely, emphatically, absolutely is NOT gay (as, obviously Kirk wasn't either).

And the actor who played Scotty wasn't gay either.

So at least we can salvage SOME of the heroes of childhood.

And yeah, I hate it when actors' tell us their sordid secrets and stupid ideas. I liked Star Wars, but knowing that Carrie Fisher was a coke-head ruined the Princess Leia business.

I'm sure anyone with any perceptive qualities at all would know he was gay after a minute of talking with him

I have no "gaydar" at all.

I was shocked when I heard about Liberace.

"Scottie, put more gerbils in the cage!"

Hmm. I wonder if he enjoyed filming that "tribbles" episode?

I will leave you to determine what orifice they push them into and why that means some need an emergency room to remove them.

Some ER employees keep lists of items that have been removed from places that they ought not to have been.

IIRC one of the lists included a softball.

I offer the usual "did a search" excuse. - don't be concerned, some of us are not on this site 24hours a day and appreciate it when we get to see post that may have been put up 10-12 hours earlier.

Somebody should tell actors not to do this.

That Tralaine character that was in one episode of the original series is still the gayest Star Trek character ever.

This is a true story. My husband found it on the Internet but it was a recording of a newscaster telling the story. He got to laughing so hard he could hardly finish it. It had to do with gerbils, which I believe gays call feltching. Anyhow, when the receiving partner in this couple had had enough he'd yell, "Armagedon!" That was the signal to retrieve the gerbil. So the other parter would use the "retrieval" instrument. When the gerbil refused to come out they had the brilliant idea of lighting a match and holding it at the end of the "retrieval" instrument thinking the gerbil would be attracted to the light. Instead the match ignited a pocket of methane gas which had a chain reaction and blasted the gerbil out of the guy's butt hitting his partner in the nose. They went to the emergency room to be treated for 2nd and 3rd degree burns and a broken nose.
