According to Chrissy Matthews the other night "Cheney lied when he TESTIFIED to Russert on Meet the Press"....'
so, I guess the MSM have elevated themselves to GJ status...

Fitz: Say you just shot some doves... and suddenly a wild boar is bearing down on you. Do you drop the doves you just shot...God, this baseball analogy. I heard something like this in Primary Colors... I think.

This is really frightening. This guy is a real loose cannon.

You're absolutely right. Everything becomes tainted at this point. New witnesses can come forward, etc. OR BE DENIED!

The very fact that Libby, not a stupid or poor man, didn't hire a criminal attorney tells me he didn't think he needed one because he thinks he's innocent.

Libby could very well have been telling the truth when he spoke what he did to reporters.....then asked or talked about the swarm of reporter question w/Cheney who THEN told him what the CIA has revealed to Cheney.
Time line, anyone?

So no one else is likely to be charged? Sounds that way.
To: kcvl
I hope there is a transcript put out because that was a big old tangled mess of "he said she said".
I thought I heard him say the Russert called Libby and asked about Plame, then Libby told the FBI that he didn't talk to Russert. But then he said Libby was the 1st to tell her name to reporters.
I'm lost.

I couldn't even follow the baseball analogy which was supposed to explain why he didn't file charges on the leaking.
