Iran's hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday openly called for Israel to be "wiped off the map"."The establishment of the Zionist regime was a move by the world oppressor against the Islamic world," the president told a conference in Tehran entitled 'The World without Zionism'.
"The skirmishes in the occupied land are part of a war of destiny. The outcome of hundreds of years of war will be defined in Palestinian land," he said.
"As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map," said Ahmadinejad, referring to Iran's revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
His comments were the first time in years that such a high-ranking Iranian official has called for Israel's eradication, even though such slogans are still regularly used at regime rallies.
Well, very simple Towelhead... eradication of Israel will also mean the End of Islam... these two things go together!
Too bad the Almighty has other ideas, Mr.-Hostage-Taker-Moon-god-Worshipper.

This is only a surprise if your last name is Clinton, Carter, or Kerry. Well, OK, maybe Kennedy, Schrumer...

The world is inflicted with 57 Muslim nations. Over 1.2 billion vermin follow the mass murdering, illiterate pedophile but I still put my money on Israel.
What a shame! A culture thought to have produced the Three Wise Men from the East, fatally poisoned by Islam.
What do you think would be the headline in all the MSM today if Sharon had said "I think Iran should be wiped off the map"?
Ah, Yes -- Here we have the perfect example of a religion of Love, Peace and extreme Tolerance \Sarc. They may want to take a read of Ezekiel 38 & 39. Israel is not the one who should be in fear. Amen.
In a straight up battle between Iran and Israel, my money would not be on Israel getting waxed. Hard to bet against God himself. Not good odds.
Leader Calling for Genocide Condemned by World; UN Attributes to Global Warming
Well, close --you forgot that-- Leader, "coached by Bush",....
Jimmy 'Peanut Head' Carter. The gift that keeps giving. Thanks to you, I have to hear these sickos in Iran, day after day. Thanks to you, our troops are getting killed in much greater numbers due to Iranian efforts. Thanks to you, the world has suffered a lot of terrorism.
Have you got a link for this - I can only see the ticker on the France Presse site?
Wishful thinking, Mr. Towelhead. God will NOT allow Israel to be destroyed by her enemies, no matter how boastful and stupid they may be.
"Ezek. 38:5 Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, "
Ezek. 38:22 I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.
