The conservatives will sit on their hands? Only those who were determined to be unhappy, anyway. And the comment that she is unattractive reveals that you are from the Neanderthal wing of the conservatives.

Reagan used to be a Democrat. Can we trust him? ;-)

Tell the truth. Those donations were in 1988.

We don't know that. Bush believes he knows. But you hate him. I don't. A bit of difference there.

Read between the lines...this may not be so bad- could be we're "misunderestimating" the president.

Not true at all. In this very topic I listed three names I'd be more than pleased with: Rogers Brown, Lutig and Alito. I'd like at least one "movement conservative", someone who isn't a wild card choice. Instead we get Rove's political games. It's ridiculous. No guts.

Per Bennett's radio show: CNN reporting she was on the list of "filibuster proof" candidates.

She is not Thomas or Scalia which was what Bush campaigned on in 2000 and 2004.

There are quite a few here who have seen the light.

Go wring your hands, turn that anger up about 10 notches, time is a wastin'.

She is not a judge. Therefore, she is not one of the great judges out there. She is a gal. Therefore, no put down.

If he thought she was "with the DNC" he would not have picked her. There are Democrats who have changed and there are Democrats who were always conservative and there are Democrats who have become Republicans over principle. You really don't know what you are talking about. But that never stopped you before.

"This is a horrible choice."

WHY???

"Not only will conservatives sit on their hands. "

????

"But she is a physically unattractive woman"

She is not being nominated to be "playmate" of the year. I have never heard of the woman and your words are of NO help regarding her fitness to be a supreme.

I see absolutely nothing reassuring about her bio. The Miers pick is a stinker.
