The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

He just picked up his car and said his meeting on campus for tomorrow has been cancelled. After being told to come into the office, they were told to go home and wait further word. Not sure anyone knows for sure what is going on but we have the FBI and other Federal Law Enforcement on the scene in addition to all kinds of Norman and OU cops.
When I heard they had called in the bomb sniffing dogs, I go really concerned.

Why would they censor an actual suicide bombing, if related to Islamic terrorists, and resist the urge to pile on Bush and Iraq?
I realize they tried to downplay the names of the snipers on the East, but they didn't downplay the actual sniping. They used it against him.
Very disturbing news. If I had a son or daughter there, I would want them to come home ASAP.
I realize they are trying to prevent a panic situation, but I think they should be more forthcoming with the facts.

There are many reasons to downplay an actual suicide bombing here.
My daughter tried to text message someone right after the explosion and her cell phone wouldn't work. It was the 4th quarter before cell phones started going off around us and the lady sitting next to us had six missed calls and none of us heard her cell phone go off. The girl behind us whose sister alerted her told us her sister tried to get her for over half an hour and couldn't get through.
Your guess is as good as mine about shutting down cell phones.

Well, he came by his political party as inheritance. His dad was close friends with Mr. Sam and David sat at Mr. Sam's knee as a child.
I have also run into him at the OKC PetClub. But I haven't lived in OKC for 16 years. I understand David's son is also now a state congressman of some kind.
