From Staff Reports
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.

The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department.

The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State.

After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

I didn't get a rerun here. But my station, 106.3 is very independent minded. New and small.

He had second thoughts, sat down on a lonely bench and aborted his mission. IMO. Lucky for for us all. The pyschological care and feeding of a suicide bomber takes a lot of time and a LOT of support manpower. Outside of a pure culture of hate they are exceedingly rare.

The haters are cowards, except in gangs.

No eye-opener here, not after the Federal Building in OK City, Waco, Flight 800, etc.

The Mass Media (MSM) will announce exactly what they are permitted, and that is not always a malicious muzzling. These are not the Clintons, here.

This guy was likely being watched already, for that matter.

It is obvious to me, and probably everyone who has been keeping up with this that this was not a lone bomber/suicide.

I can't prove it to a judicial standard, but I'm convinced.

The lack of info isn't incompetence, but is allowing further investigation to occur, and people like the missing roommate may already be at/on their way to Gitmo. I have no doubt this is being pursued somewhere, quietly.

The authorities are forced to weigh the possibility of a recurrence against the potential benefit of tracking multiple jihadis and possibly multiple cells. Solutions may or may not involve grabbing co-conspiritors immediately, they may produce more information while being tracked at large, and lead to the prevention of multiple acts.

I do not envy them that decision.

The newsies will play ball, because the FCC and IRS have big sticks.

We are in the 'blogosphere', are unofficial, and can always be dismissed as tinfoil hat material, even if we are ahooting in the X ring.

Sounds like you do good work. I guess if no more info is to be found in OK someone would have to check Colorado records. Are you all getting dizzy in OK from the Boren Spin? Maybe some enterprising soul could invent a drink named for him. You start out with one type of booze then add another layer, then another till drinking it makes you so dizzy your head spins.

the conservative cannibals, who eat their own to look more 'solid' have kept us 10 times less wacko than the left.

I'm not sure...but I think you have just succinctly described my entire adult life.....except we eat our own not in an attempt to appear as something we're not...but rather because we think it's the right thing to do.

Also odd for such a very small company (they say so themselves) is that he bothered to incorporate it in Delaware, which seems a bit much.

You are right. Although a lot of corporation organize in Delaware for tax purposes it does seem a lot to go through.
Do you also notice shifts in the dad's story about J.H's depression? There are two significant groups I would love to know if Joel was involved in at any time. One is the Christian Identity Movement and the other is Mormon Fundamentalism.

I was thinking about Bush 41 and his amnesty to the Iraqi Muslims brought to the USA as part of the Gulf War negotiations, and whether any of those protected Muslims came up on Able Danger radar screen.

Something the current Bush Administration would not want disclosed that his Dad actually gave protection to Muslims that are now blowing us up or have created sleeping cells over the last 15 years right under our good hearted noses.

We now have his roomie's name and a named account indicating that Joe Jihad tried to enter the stadium at gate 6 but ran away after being asked to show his backpack.

To all interested, I was listening to Rick Roberts (www.760kfmb.com) this morning...he was the one covering this yesterday on the Savage show. I heard about 40 minutes of calls and coverage.

If you're interested, he's definitely taking calls this morning 800-760-KFMB

He is DEFINITELY not letting this story disappear. He said they will be staying on it, that America needs to know, the people of OK need to know, he talked to one radio guy in the area of OU who said no one is buying what Boren is trying to sell as far as the story with this case, and that there is far more to it.

There's two more hours left of his show today...definitely worth trying to listen to online if you're not in the San Diego area...and those of you who have some of the earlier articles and/or on the ground experiences, he'll definitely talk to you based on what I heard...he's talking about how things in articles changed, etc...

So, for what it's worth, there's at least one person who's going to stay on this closely!

I personally have to agree with the other poster -

Just so you know, I am rarely wrong about trolls. Once I sniff em out, I keep tabs on em.

The guy you were defending, hoboken109, saying I was being so unjust, has been banned.

"The fact that there is an obvious media blackout..."Hope your right, and the apparent lack of interest was false. If this is the case then i assume Homeland Security,FBI,etc are gathering info, picking up possible accomplices, and interviewing witnesses.

No wonder he hasn't been around for the past day or so. He certainly asked for it. As I said earlier on the thread, and in my freepmail to you, the guy was so obvious and transparent in his agenda. Not subtle at all. PKM will be happy to hear he's gone.

It was kinda funny, as soon as I called him a troll on this thread, he immediately began misspelling words.

It's like some weird morph thing. Expose em, and their grammar and spelling go right out the window.

I looked at the Colorado voter roll from last year, and there are two people registered as voters at the address: Joel (father) who is 64 and registered "R", and Steven, age 24, registered "L" [Libertarian?]. No "Elaine" at that address, and no Elaine anywhere in the state who could be the mother based on age. But someone could be just not registered to vote, like lots of people.

Hope this helps.
