The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department. The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State. After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.
thanks, I'll have to go read a little more about something other than OU boombing:)
You know what, I think we need some more threads about this Chuckquifax scandal.
According to the blog linked a few posts above, the owner of the store he tried to by the amonium nitrate from called the FBI. They were supposedly already watching him.
Thanks, Lizarde. I really am so tired, my thinking machine is only partially engaged :)
I am becoming more and more convinced the MSM won't report a single story that will make people even think about the war on terror.
Ammonium nitrate is the materials used in the Murrah Building blast at Oklahoma City by McVeigh/Nichols/Third Terrorist who was an Iraqi Republican Guard.
The third terrorist is identified in a book by Jayna Davis called The Third Terrorist.
James Woolsey, former CIA Director, endorses her research and the book and says when the truth is known about OKC, the world will owe her a debt of gratitude.
I didn't hear the caller after her...
but, I did hear Greg ask her to e-mail him if she manages to get some information out of her cousin who was questioned by the FBI....
I wonder if she realized THEN, that she might have said too much, if what she said is true...
I don't listen to the local news much, here in the DFW area...too liberal...so I don't know how much play this story got...but,
the Texas/0U game is this weekend and it is played at Fair Park....with thousands of fair goers as well as football fans...so I doubt if they would want people to get too nervous...and stay away.
The dearth of coverage has bothered me from the beginning. I left the game shortly after halftime, and had no idea what the explosion we'd heard was. There clearly was a very large crime scene taped off by then, but there had been no announcement in the stadium - they just locked the gates. (Except one, which we left through.)
Other than a few very brief mentions, there's been nothing. My parents watched the game on TV, and nothing was said, and they haven't read or heard anything since (they live on the east coast.)
/sarc on
That's not possible because Clinton put all his energy into fighting terrorism back in 1993-1995 and he was not distracted by cheap, sordid affairs with White House interns and assorted bimbos while Hillary nodded in approval.
/sarc off
File that under JUST DAMN!
There have been quite a few things that make me go HMMMMM!!
Flight 800, right before the Atlanta Olympics...the airplane crash soon after 9/11....the third suspect in Oklahoma City....this incident....
I bet Steve Emerson would have stories that we don't even know about that would turn our hair gray!!!
2002, huh? After 9/11. Probably got pissed by the war in Afghanistan, making it easier for him to be converted and programmed by handlers.
In case you see this here first, you've got mail...found a cache link to the article about the five injured.
Be a pity for Mr Hinrich if an undercover agent trailing the young student "terminated him with extreme prejudice" before he could get into a crowd and maybe lose his backpack. Also, might have been distressing for any friends who may have accompanied Hinrich causing them to leave the vicinity in search of consolation. But then Hinrich may have been under the influence of something that prevented him from being too aware of his evening jaunt so perhaps he didn't mind.
Lord forbid anyone mentions football lest someone faints dead away.
If I asked with a cherry on top could you possibly transcript it?
Steve Emerson's book is the first one I read after 9/11. And he's the first person the FBI called after 9/11. He literally had to rent warehouses to hold all the materials he collected for years about the jihadists in this country.
And don't forget -- both George Stephanapolous and John Kerry have referred to TWA 800 as a terrorist incident. More than once.
