Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco lashed out at FEMA on Tuesday, complaining the agency is moving too slowly in recovering the bodies of those killed by Hurricane Katrina.
The dead "deserve more respect than they have received," she said at state police headquarters in Baton Rouge.
She said that the Federal Emergency Management Agency still has not signed a contract with the company hired to handle the removal of the bodies, Houston-based Kenyon International Emergency Services.
Calls to a FEMA spokesman in New Orleans and the Homeland Security Department in Washington were not immediately returned.

Governor Blanco plays the victim card. But I will say this: she is being specific about the help she wants, so let's get on with it.

No to be crass, but would it be worth the number of deaths incurred to keep The Beast from the Oval Office? You don't have to worry about being crass because you don't have to answer that question. What is, is. Depending on your definition of the word "is" of course. That's the beauty of it.

Oh I think I know. If FEMA doesn't sign the contract the state of Louisiana might have to pay the company. Why is FEMA responsible for body removal anyway?

Does anyone still believe that Blanco speaks for herself?
It's obvious the Dem party, if not MoveOn or Daily Kos, has taken over her office and is giving her her lines. She's obviously not smart enough to come up with stuff herself.

When condicting a grid search, you don't jump willy nilly about the city. You methodicxally search, grid by grid.
Some gay looking doctor with brigh blue wire glasses came on Fox last night full of faux outrage that there was a body in the street and FEMA didn't come pick it up.

You agree with her???? Are you serious???? It's her fault these people are dead, AND if she doesn't like how it's being done why isn't she doing something about it, she is the governor after all, oh but wait, she's INCOMPETENT so it's no suprise she's making this stupid statement, however, I find it surprising someone would actually agree with her nonsense.
