The Dem playbook
The Hill newspaper gives us a peek at the Democratic playbook for the Roberts hearings. Below are the attack assignments for the Democratic members of the Committee:
Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade
Feingold -- limits of executive powers
Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

I hope my friends get this up on their vidblogs.
Specter calls a 15 minute break rather than go the the Pubbie side. Heheheh. That was fun.
You mean mumbling to himself more than he typically does.
I can hardly wait for Schumer!
"chairmanish"... LOL
"Senator Kennedy! Let him answer the question!"
Wait till the second round starts this afternoon; Teddy the Hutt should be in fine form by then...
yeah, time for Brit to smack him down which he is doing...
One thing is sure: Roberts stands his ground and holds his own in spades!
Roberts is like a big old cat with a tiny mouse, he has not even broken a sweat yet.
Did anyone see Teddy boy staggering away during the break (on CSPAN 3)?
I must say I didn't join that crowd. I even tried to explain being asked to help with pro bono cases by a partner in your law firm, but that was pretty much a fruitless exercise :)
Without batting an eye.
Your Schumer comment got the 666. LOL
Yep, that, too.
As I sit here listening to Teddie "Kicked Out of Law School for Cheating" Kennedy who has broken more than one law without consequence, questioning Judge Roberts, it's mind-boggleing.
The Roberts bashers are themselves mumbling.
And rightly so.
How about a synopsis of what the swimmer said, what Roberts said to slap him down, and what Specter said to the swimmer.
