Just heard on FOX that Blanco refused to allow supplies to be brought to the stadium, "Because they wanted all those people to leave, and they didn't want to create a magnet to bring others there, by bringing in food and water!"""

are you the one that located the info (gosh, deep in one of those long live threads) that Blanco's relatives were entrenched in the police department?Elesu is our FReeper extraordinaire for all things Blanco.
If she doesn't know the answer - she sure knows where to find it.

well ..guess this is another clinton like rally round stupid dems... it won't go on much longer..the longer it goes on, the more they expose themselves.
Remember Durbin with his nazi comment and how much he wasn't going to apologize no matter what?..well a phone call from demoncrat Mayor DALY reminded Durbin that his rants and idiotic comments were going to cost him (the mayor) votes..the next day,there he was,lip quivering tears welling up in his eyes,apologizing.

Yes, Jefferson Parish did support Democrat EWE in 1991 by a margin of more than 32,000 votes.

Straight from the Governor's office. Can't wait to hear the Congressional Dems defend this one.

Thank! But see post 444 - I think mware may have cleared up the 'related' question...

The people she did not allow in also had baby formula on their trucks. Hubby told me today 17 infants died. Today her office will not answer phones, they say cause of coming litigation against them. How does this woman sleep at night? I can't believe she hasn't resigned or committed suicide yet. I think she will do one or the other when this starts getting published in the local papers and on the local news.

..the administration in LA was herding the poor, sick, homeless, drug addicts and disabled into the Superdoom... to kill them so they didn't have to support them, and then would blame the deaths on Bush... I just got done saying "the Superdome was a concentration camp" before I read this.

Sorry if there are those on this forum that don't like my thinking, but...I had said nearly the same before I read this. I only proposed they were purposely starving them to force them out.

"LOL, that was a mistake. the media will be all over the story now."
Hey, you have more faith in the media than I do. They had a week to figure out Louisiana screwed up. And as soon as the New York Times said Bush wasn't showing leadership, the media started jumping on the Administration. So much for the media.

I don't know about the Rats jumping ship. The Kool Aid must taste pretty good to the DUmmies.

Heard that was the impression and experience. I remember reading somewhere that some of them ended up on the street near the convention center...

I will say it again, did the RATS intentionally make things worse in LA to use as a political weapon ? Indeed they did... and they made that decision BEFORE Katrina even hit.

If you think it's too far-fetched, just consider the slander and venom that the Left has been spewing all across the board, as if someone has pressed a button and mobilized them everywhere.
They set a trap for Bush, and it was a two-pronged trap. They willingly allowed a natural disaster to be as bad as it could be, so that they could blame the result on Bush in the orgy of slander and calumnies we are witnessing. But they also allowed it to be as bad as it could be in an attempt to force him to overstep his authority in order to save lives. By using Blanco as a giant monkey wrench in the federal machine, they tried to force his hand into violating Posse Comitatus so they could impeach him. It's that simple. They are truly diabolical.
Bush didn't fall into the second half of the trap, but the first half was unavoidable. To the Dems, it's a win-win situation... but in the end, it'll be a lose-lose for them. For he who sets a trap will fall into it himself, and he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him. The Truth will destroy them.

This is where some discreet 'leaks' from patriotic NG officers would be invaluable..... :^)
I sure hope the full truth comes out soon -- the cover-up must be intense.... that Major Garret report is DEVASTATING for the 'Rat Governor:
1) the state ignored its own published emergency plan which states that AT LEAST 100,000 poor, elderly, and/or "special needs" persons will have to be evacuated from NOLA;
2) the state blocked the Red Cross from bringing numerous trucks and volunteers loaded with food and water in to the Superdome and the Convention Center;
3) the state failed to deploy their own NG in any significant numbers and did not use them for the obvious purpose of helping people in NOLA.
We've got to find out the timeline on what happened behind the scenes between the Governor and the NG!!!
To: Mind-numbed Robot
I had actually posted that to another forum before I posted it here. Trust me, I know there are people on that forum that didn't like it. I was in a hurry due to it being rush hour in history, so I just did a quick copy/paste.

The Democrats I see don't have any shame. And they won't have until they are shamed by the public.
