It's Bush who's to blame for the London subway bombings in July, according to Jann Wenner, founder and publisher of Rolling Stone magazine. "If the London bombings are the work of an al-Qaida offshoot," contended Wenner, "then you have to fairly say, in the same way we condemn other's terror, this is in part the result of Bush's War on Iraq."
In Wenner's world, a swaggering and trigger-happy Bush is driving people nuts, causing four otherwise normal guys to go wild and simultaneously blow themselves to smithereens during the morning rush hour in London.
Of course that doesn't explain former Libyan intelligence officer Abdel Basset al-Megrahi, convicted of planting the suitcase bomb that brought down Pam Am Flight 103 flying out of London Heathrow Airport. That act of terrorism occurred in December 1988, back when George W. Bush was putting together a group of partners to buy the Texas Rangers, a dozen years before his first inaugural address.
Al-Megrahi didn't need . . .

Yes, but we must remember that the world began in November 2000 !!! There was nothing before that...
Jan is a openly gay man...enough said about his politics.
I added a bunch of Katrina-related keywords/topics. Sorry about that. This is a War on Terror piece.
Jann has 2 "N's" silly-pants.
Wenner's world relies disproportionately on water-soluble lubricants, too.

Yup. That is the surest way to keep that readership steady.
I love these fools. If they told the truth and always presented both sides, they would tap into a market of millions. As conservative values rise, readership in these rags goes down.
At the suggestion of writer Michelle Malkin last Friday, I have cobbled together a blogsite called Texas Clearinghouse for Katrina Aid to serve as a clearinghouse for refugee efforts in Texas.
Texas is getting more refugees than any other state -- that's fine, we'll take them all -- but we need help providing them with food, clothing, and shelter.
If you are a refugee, you can information that will help you find relief. If you want to donate or volunteer, you can find someone who needs you.
Right now the site mostly covers Houston and Dallas but I will add various churches, schools, and other charities in San Antonio and Ft. Worth tonight. My wife is down at Reunion Arena in Dallas as we speak handing out care packages and otherwise ministering to the refugees as a representative of her employer.
There are a lot of churches and other organizations in Texas that need help in dealing with the problem and I would be most appreciative if you would get the word out.
Many thanks,
Michael McCullough
