Sen. Mary Landrieu threatened the president of the United States with physical violence on Sunday, saying that if he or any other government official criticizes New Orleans police for failing to keep civil order in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina - "I might likely have to punch him - literally."
"If one person criticizes [our sheriffs], or says one more thing, including the president of the United States, he will hear from me - one more word about it after this show airs and I - I might likely have to punch him - literally," Landrieu railed on "ABC's "This Week."
It is illegal to threaten the president with physical violence.
The Louisiana Democrat blasted Bush for neglecting the New Orleans levees, and demanded that he stop using the disaster for "photo-ops."
"The president came here yesterday for a photo-op," Landrieu charged, while surveying the disaster scene via helicopter with "This Week" host George Stephanopoulos in tow. "He got his photo-op but we are never going to get this fixed if he does not send us help now."
Landrieu also blamed Bush for cutting funding for levee improvement, before bursting into tears on camera.
In recent days, Louisiana officials have been criticized for bungling evacuation and rescue efforts. One of those officials, Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu, is Sen. Landrieu's brother.
A cheap New Orleans whore has got more class and grey matter than this sorry excuse of a senior senator from Louisiana.

LOL dont mess with Texas ladies.
Laughing at the very thought of Mary and Laura mixing it up. My bet is on Laura who will rip her silly bleached and highlighted hair out by the roots. Or maybe, Laura might just deck her. Not sure what tactic Laura would take.
sorry...don't like this photo or caption.
Maybe it is the child ...maybe the words...how about having it removed?
All media and politicians who play the blame game while so many others are doing all humanly possible to bring order, aid and comfort to their fellow citizens should be remembered forever with contempt.
Either help or get out of the way. Pointing fingers is not going to save one life.
Sorry people but these social worker babes can't handle a real crisis. Obviously applies to Governess Blanco too. They are real good at gaming the system enough to get elected but they crumble when lives are in immediate danger. Blanco lacked enough vision to plan for evacuation of the po' folks of NO. Though those school busses sure get mobilized come election day.
Another thread is showing GW Bush wanted to act on Aug 27 and move into LA but the Gov of LA OBSTRUCTED!!!
What a loser. Lock her up. Also, can someone help me with what to say to the libs who keep saying that Bush cut off funding for fixing the levee? I don't know how to answer that at another message board. Thanks.
Boy...this is a big change from her response to Anderson Cooper, isn't it?
SOrry ...but people have EVERY right to question the New Orleans police. If 20 percent of them LEFT THEIR JOB, then it explains why it fell into crisis so quickly. And if the governor REJECTED the federalization of the National Guard, then the STATE WAS IN CHARGE. And I haven't heard President Bush criticize ANYONE from Louisiana, so WHY IS SHE SAYING THIS? I believe the woman 'protests too much"
oh...and I'm SURE Tim Russert pointed out the responsibilities of the state vs feds..../s
Or, as I saw on another post somewhere, Democrats would screw up a one car funeral.
The whole irresponable Demogenerate "Machine"
screwed the poch on this, and 10's of thousands
of americans died because they did. And now, the
whole "Machine", media included, are all pissding
themselves and making every wild accusation that
pops into their heads, trying to deflect the blame.
I suspect her Press Secretary is working on a news release to "clarify" the distinguished senator's comments, right about now.

The same ones who were reported as turning in their badges rather than trying to maintain order.
Or the ones too busy walking off the job to be bothered with keeping civil order, or the ones too busy pocketing money to set up a flood-resistant communications system.
Ok, let's try to be fair. Is it possible that Mary's drug suppliers are now in Houston?
We didn't want it to be political, you have not heard ONE Republican criticize the state and local government, although they so richly deserve it. Republicans have criticized Bush much more than the Rats who run the state.
No matter how hard a person tries to help, with the mentality of some people they just can't be helped. It's Bushes fault. < /sarcasm off >
