We'll find them. *ominously* ..we'll find them. You do much better at it than I, though. : )

I expect Roberts to get a lesser fight because of this.If nothing else, it pretty much takes away the Dims' ability to use Katrina to delay the Roberts hearings and give their smear merchants more time to dig. A SCOTUS that starts the new session short a Chief Justice and an Associate Justice due to Dim delaying tactics will not sit well with the public.

You have to read the headlines in the boxes under different titles. It was very easy to find. Took me about a minute.

The Dems are going to be frantic over the thought of Bush getting all these Supremes put in! And it is the Democrats who will be suffering in agony and coming off worse for the experience.
Democrats keep desperately predicting that these misfortunes will wear Bush down and out. But if five years experience have taught them nothing else, it has should have taught them that Bush does not wear down and out. He makes his decision and sleeps soundly.

The mircro-cephalics at DU are already in total teeth-gnashing, tongue-swallowing neural meltdown.
And when are they not?

What is the over/under on the amount of time it takes for the AP to run a story on the reaction of Katrina refugees to the Rehnquist death/nomination fight?? I bet the MSM is pissed this story is interrupting their tragedy. There will probably be some whackjobs down there that will claim that Karl Rove drove to Rehnquist house and killed him to get the heat of Bush's handling of Katrina.

Figures.
Trolls always find the most opportune time to swarm the forum, don't they?

If it would've been a thread started-it would've been more than likely called 'a vanity post'.

Maybe the justices will tread a bit more carefully. Their last decision about property rights has ticked off the whole country!

With the death of Rehnquist, only conservatives can lose. This is not the correct perspectivie...in fact it seems a little...well...out there.

First you are appointed to the court, then you head back to the Senate to be appointed Chief Justice.WRONG!! The Senate doesn't appoint Justices or the CJ. Warren Burger was appointed CJ directly by Nixon and only had one hearing.
