That is a comforting thought.

Just read. Condolences to the family. The judge was a good and noble man that fought for traditional American values and morales. His shoes as the Chief of SCOTUS will be hard to fill.
Thank-you Judge Rhenquist for your service and devotion.

Aye, the President is truly being put to test. He needs to submit entirely to prayer to get through this.
To: kcvl
May God be with his family. He was a good man.
And prayers for the President. I have no clue how this man faces the responsibilities he bears with such courage in the face of shrill absurd hatred from his enemies. We are blessed to have him.

We were all newbies once. I am still a newbie.
The trick is to respect your elders, remember you have a lot to learn, don't pick fights, if you can't say anything nice, don't and listen before you speak.
Kind of like real life...only easier.

LOL!
Well, much as I might appreciate the latent poetic justice in that scenario, it is less likely given Hitlery's known cold, calculating nature. More likely to nail the junior Senator for something along the lines of suborning perjury, or attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States...high treason, that sort of thing...
I would happily "settle" for a single conviction on her past or present bad acts - one of sufficient gravity to permanently discredit her with supporters, and disqualify her from elected office. Having her serve any actual time in incarceration would be a bonus.

Thomas or Scalia to CJ, JRB to court. That is if I were POTUS. We should all pray for Shumer after his Heart attack if this comes to pass.

Condolences to the family of Chief Justice Rehnquist. He was one of the good guys.

Together with Scalia and Thomas, he was one of the best justices. May God bless his soul.

But the middle class that make up the swing voters in the USA are not stupid. Thanks for the historical perspective - Reagan v Carter and the election result reporting.
I keep my sanity when listening to "the media" by reminding myself that polls of the "people" are not polls of "voters." The lying media know this, as well.

Wooo, it Will hit the fan now.
Yep, the Dims are gonna go completely insane, their world collapsing around them. Hanoi Cindy is gonna look calm next to Leahy and Biden.
Sad day for conservatives though. For many years, Rehnquist was the only voice of sanity on the Warren court.

Congress is out on recess, recess appointment for Judge Bork to fill the Chief Justices seat.
Just to freak out the libs.
