Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I doubt that Martha ever tied a yellow ribbon about the Mount Vernon oak trees though. And George was gone a long long time -- and more than once.
I didn't say it was, and that's not the point of the song. However, your objection to a display of yellow ribbons that have the same symobology as portrayed in that song, is demonstrative of a most incredible obtuseness on your part.
I don't think anyone will take the chance on arresting the gay marine. He assaulted a cameraman and got away with it. The left would spin it too much so he'd have to murder someone, on live TV, before they'd arrest him.
Huh?!?!
Per Kristinn, it's over.
You beat me
He came damn close to putting out an estimate of how many patriots were there, but it just kinda s-s-s-s-stuck in his th-th-th-throat and never came out.
I'm so burned up. When Fox started, I enrolled in their "club" and got a Fox mug.
After today they can take their mug and fug it.
Leni
I'm depending on you guys. Since I rarely watch TV, I ripped out the cable several years ago.
Kelly's a dem, his dad is a dem. That's what is to be expected from the dems.
HOORAY!
LOL Touche'
Very disappointed in Greg and FNC.
I totally agree, Justanobody is great. She fights the good fight with the DC FReepers every Friday night against the Code-Pinkos and you're right, she DOES rock!! People like her make FR the wonderful place it is for me.
Can someone post their email addy again? Please...
FOX just reported that more and more pro-Bush supporters are arriving in Crawford. There are now three pro-Bush camps, one right across from the original Camp Casey I. There has been no violence though two protesters, one from each side, have been arrested. Several reporters have been roughed up by locals and that is all for now. More reports as the evening progresses.
The Blue Knights are all cops.
Correction. Meant to say, Greg Kelly read our sign, Stick with our troops, not the kooks.
I think you're on to something there... :-)
WOw i am surprised
For example, he said "estimates very", on crowd size, but no numbers...there was lots of coverage in those few minutes on cindy- and talk of who is funding who- after weeks of no discussion of the matter. I am very disappointed in greg kelly. The word will get out- I don't know what these people are thinking.
There was something odd about greg during his report-as well.
I'll have to tvo/record him tonight. I don't normally stay up that late.
