Jerry Agar "lobbied" to STOP talking about illegal employment @ day labor sites ****BY A COP***!!!

Jerry has local talk show on KMBZ 980. Yesterday he talked at length about a story regarding those who facilitate illegal immigration via Day Labor sites:

He started to wonder aloud about how high the percentage is here, and talked about doing some investigative reporting on local day labor sites.....

He came on the air mad as hell, he recieved call from ***police officer*** "lobbying" him to STOP TALKING ABOUT IT!!

I love it when Agar goes after Lewis Do-no-good (editorial board on the KC Star). He also did good work on the Tracy Street project, getting the Reverend Emmanuel Cleaver to finally look into it.

Yup, Darla is pretty bad. Annoying laugh, not very good with callers, has a hard time putting together coherent thoughts, and a poor listener. Something tells me she won't be around for too long.

For a couple of weeks, they put Laura Ingraham on in that morning time slot and that was great!

No kidding, Jerry really goes after that leftist, "blame whitey" ninney!

But what really impressed me was the way he went after the Tracy Street project. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, a group, using city, state, and federal money, purchased and began to renovate two houses in a depressed part of town. I believe that in good condition, those houses would sell for about $23,000 each. As far as I know, the total spent on the project is over $1,100,000 at this point (that's NOT a typo. One Million, One Hundred Thousans Dollars!), and neither house if finished.

And getting Cleaver to look into it? Talk about getting the fox to guard the henhouse! He ran one of the most corrupt KC administrations since the Pendergast era... I guess he just wanted to step up to where the serious graft is, in Washington.

Really? You liked Wood and Johnson? I thought they were two of the biggest morons ever. I couldn't stand to listen to them. It wasn't their politics, I just wanted to smack them for being stupid and uninformed.
Too many odd hours. I used to listen to Jerry in the morning but now he is in the afternoon and I am usually at work. I loved when he exposed the Rat stealing over the house renovations. That caused a pucker or two. He got the Feds involved now. Darla impressed me for a few shows and now I am gone when she is on now. What remains is Rush and O'Reilly. I wish they would put Laura Ingram on during the day instead of after midnight.

The state of talk radio in KC--when the radio is on, I'm usually listening to:

KMBZ Morning News (Morning drive)
KCMO Tony Snow (Mid-morning)
KMBZ Rush (Noon)
Either KMBZ O'Reilly or KCMO Hannity (Afternoon)
KMBZ Agar (Evening drive)
WHB Royals (listening to the train wreck) or very occasionally KCMO Glenn Beck (Evening)
KMBZ Laura Ingraham (Night: 10-1 am)

I wouldn't mind some other choices after Rush (or instead of him sometimes--Dr. Laura is on KCMO opposite to Rush. I don't mind Dr. Laura so much but her moronic callers drive me nuts)

I'm glad you guys have Darla Jay and we no longer have to listen to the wench. She is abrasive and not very deep as her subject matter always seemed to be on a very shallow level. I have just been listening to FM in her time slot here in Alabama and hit her old station by mistake and found her time-slot with yet another goob in it and found she was gone.
Trust me dead air is better than having to listen to her carry on about nothing. Good luck to you and maybe you guys will be able to find an alternative to her until she implodes as she always seems to do.
