George W Bush and babies/small children, most of these photos are from the election campaign last year though some of them maybe from other events such as promoting social security reform or other policies that the President has been touring the country promoting.

The Vice President on the other hand is not often seen with children other than his own grandchildren here are a couple

On the other hand his grandchildren and children represent a very important role in his election campaigns.

The President was heartened that his grown children wanted to help on the campaign though he would not expect them to do so and has always tried to keep the away from the limelight so that they can have as normal a life as possible.

The following a few photos from the campaign trail which show the close relationship that the President has with both his children.

Jenna shows she has her dad’s love of babies as well

The Cheney daughters were involved from an early age with their father election campaigns and both were vital members of the team last year here are a few photos
Mary at the RNC (I think this is one of the best photos I have ever seen of her>

At the VP debate in Cleveland Ohio

Liz, Mary and her partner Heather

Liz’s family with her parents at the RNC

On the eve of the election both The President and Vice President were at rallies which were very much family affairs

Though to young to vote Dick Cheney’s grand daughter Kate accompanied him to vote in Jackson Hole Wyoming once again I would suspect the VP would see this is an important part in her education and development.

Both the Cheney and Bush families celebrate at the Victory Rally at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington

There are many other photos I could have used but I think these give you a flavour of the Bush and Cheney families and their commitment to each other and the country they love and serve.

I finish with a photo of the President Laura and the Vice President and Lynne

Please enjoy these and post any favourites of your own.

Both President Bush and VP Cheney are really at ease with children. I don't think I have ever seen Barbara holding a child. Jenna is a natural - photos on recent trip to Africa with Laura were really nice. One that I like not to bring up HRC is the one where she's holding the baby and his eyes are turned and looks like he is ready to punch her.
