The Heart of Texas Chapter of FreeRepublic.com is holding a rally in Crawford, Texas today to show America's support for our troops, President Bush and the war on terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world.
The rally will be held at noon at the Crawford Civic Center at 1000 4th Street.
Freepers are coming from near and far to join the H.O.T. Chapter in Crawford. If you live within four hours drive of Crawford, it's not too late to hit the road and get on down there.
Folks in attendance will be calling in to me, Brad's Gramma and Jeff Head with live updates from the scene. I am told that cellphone coverage in Crawford is spotty. However, it may have gotten better of late.
We'll see.
Hat's off to Basil, Doctor Raoul, The Sarce and 2ndAmendmentMama (and anyone else) who've been scrambling the past two days to make this happen. Good luck!

Agreed 100%..although there is a direct threat, long term, to American security by what was being attempted at Klamath by the Enviros and their UN, NGO handlers.
Still...the methodology used there can work just as well here...and I'll bet, when the full truth comes out...even better here because most Americans will view it as a absolute desecration for a mother's grief to be played, and used, to walk on a brave American's grave and then give aide and comfort to the very enemies who killed him.

Danged if FReepers haven't become a major force to be dealt with on a daily basis.
Thanks, to all you guys and gals that love your country so much that you give of your free time to get out the message of true patriotism to America.
God Bless All Of You.

My gratitude and respect go to (1) your "soldier husband" who served in Iraq and (2) especially those who like Army Spc. Casey Sheehan gave their lives in service to our country. For whatever else Cindy Sheehan has or has not done, she raised an honorable son. Though I respectfully disagree with her political views, I'm so grateful to live in a country that allows her the right to openly voice those views. Cindy Sheehan paid a dear price for that freedom -- she lost her son.

Thanks for the ping, ZM! What a wonderful idea to take stuff to the recruiting office. I should have done that here, too. I'm not even sure they're open today--although they are at the mall, and would be easy to find!
I guess I need to scroll through that thread to find the pictures that have been posted.

Thanks to you and other Freepers who gave up a good part of their summer the year of the battle with the Suckerfish pushers, we won an important first big battle with the enviral watermelons.
We, also, learned how to expose the lies and spins of the dark side via Free Republic. Free Republic is stronger and more powerful now with more allies in the media.
If we lose this battle and Iraq is abandoned. We can kiss America, our Families and friends goodbye. Nothing will stop the Jihadists from destroying our country, our families, our friends and our way of life.

No problem my longtime ally against the evil Watermelons.
The evil from the Jihadists and their anti American buddies like Cindy, Michael Moore and the rats in Congress and the media is far more dangerous.

I am almost certain that if those of here were to post our curricula-vitae against that other site we'd win hands down.
Add to that we probably know the REAL STORY better than they do. Especially among those that are Freepers and work for DoD and get to see all sorts of things that they can't talk about here. So, they lose again.

Would you add me to your ping list?
Thanks.

Hey, lady! Thanks for the running updates. Even though I'm only 15 miles away, parental duties kept me from Crawford today, so I really appreciated the live thread.
For any FReepers still in the Waco area, the President will throw the opening pitch tonight at the Little League Baseball's Southwestern Regional Tournament. Hopefully Windy Cindy will NOT be in attendance.
To: Zacs Mom
Awesome job Zacs Mom! What a wonderful idea to show your support of the troops! Good on ya!
