Carville said Novak was trying to look tough for the editorial pages. Novak said that was xxxxxxxx and walked out of the set and you can hearing him throwing his mike. Carville looked like a dear in headlights.
there are often mistakes in the transcripts, they are posted quickly. I'm glad you caught the rest of what Carville said, proving Novak was justified in his anger at Carville, certainly justified in walking off the show. Novak should have walked away from CNN years ago.

I was not even believing what I was hearing coming out of his mouth...and putting those grieving parents on the day after they find out their son is dead ---- of course, they said some really dumb stuff like calling DOD to have the son sent home if he hadn't been one of the ones that died...
BUT I blame Chrissy---he USED those parents by trying to make it look like BUSH is using the troops for NO REASON!!!

Birnbaum was worse than clueless tonight, more like despicable and duplicitous, trying to protect the NYT's quest for information on the Roberts' adoptions, with the subliminal suggestion that sealed adoptions are somehow unusual, out of the ordinary, hence worthy of the media investigating them. When Birnbaum realized that wouldn't fly, he made the unbelievable statement, how until this very night he had no idea sealed adoption records was the norm.
I was glad super Dad Bill Sammon was on tonight to keep Birnbaum in line.
I'll bet the Left is saying this was planned so Novak wouldn't have to talk about the Plame thing.
(ON Fox) It was quite satisfying to see Novak exit the CNN theater of the absurd set.
But the guy in the middle - Birnbaum? He is a travel writer for the Washington Posties...why is he being asked to comment on anything? He can hardly articulate his name.
I was channel surfing and saw this live, but didn't think much about it at the time, because carvile is such a horse's ass I don't see how anybody could stand to sit next to him anyway. The claim that he left because he coludn't take the heat of a plame question is BS, plame's name was never mentioned. Novak just got PO'd about carvile's constant smart-ass remarks. Carvile is the one who should apologize.
