Carville said Novak was trying to look tough for the editorial pages. Novak said that was xxxxxxxx and walked out of the set and you can hearing him throwing his mike. Carville looked like a dear in headlights.
Who are you talking about? Surely not Novak who performed a service for America by exposing Wilson as a liar.
I think he performed a service by calling Carville's BS BS, too.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
bttt
I didn't see any flipping. Novak just left the CNN outhouse when Carvile went into motormouth mode. This story is longhorn fertilizer. Complain to the Dept. of Agriculture.
You are right, James Carville is a total idiot and a political shill.
Nutball.
Thanks, here was the low blow from Henry:
HENRY: Thanks, James Carville. And I'm sorry as well that Bob Novak obviously left the set a little early. I had told him in advance that we were going to ask him about the CIA leak case. He was not here for me to be able to ask him about that. Hopefully we'll be able to ask him about that in the future.
Perhaps he was just pausing for station identification?
Brit playing it now!
Brit playing the clip now on his show.
"I didn't see any flipping. Novak just left the CNN outhouse when Carvile went into motormouth mode. This story is longhorn fertilizer. Complain to the Dept. of Agriculture."
You can't tell someone to complain to the Dept. of Agriculture.... Some here will get upset that it's the wrong place to complain. lol
And Novak did the right thing by leaving. That Moronic Host totally blew him off by asking Carv another question, leaving Novak in the wind to twist.
Regards,
Joe
P.S. Special report on Fox is showing the Video....
NOvak asserted himself.....To walk away is one of the strongest movement one can make when you're not making progress with the person you are arguing with.....It leaves them holding their own garbage.....If not used very often can be VERY powerful.......IMO good move by Novak!
Thanks for posting that!
I do not get this whole thing.
Novak's a smart guy.
Why go on the show --
knowing Carville's a loudmouth --
unprepared for it?!
I don't understand
why Novak printed "the name"
in the first place, and
all this subsequent
bizarre drama makes me think --
in a tin foil way --
from the first column
all the way to now this stuff
is like a stage play . . .
What do you think is being whispered in Washington...I haven't been able to keep up lately?
Are they saying bad things about Novak?
As I re-watched the clip on Brit's show, I do believe Charles nailed it. When the host rewarded Carville by going to him when Novak had been the one interrupted by Carville's taunting, it was Novak's final straw.
Novak in no way "flipped out". He merely got up and left.
Good for him. He was being mistreated so he retreated.
caught that...and here's the releevant transcript:
CARVILLE: The Democratic Senator and Jay Leno. That -- I mean, they're going to go nuts over this. They're messing with my make-up, but you really don't know who it is. I mean, let's say this: She's going to be good for the humor circuit. She's going to be good for the speech circuit and she's good for a lot. And I think that Nelson -- I think, it's probably no secret that the White House wanted the speaker to run and I suspect that the Nelson people are, you know, feeling pretty good here today.
NOVAK: A couple of points here: The first place, don't be too sure she's going to lose. All the establishment's against her and I've seen these Republican -- anti-establishment candidates who do pretty well. Ronald Reagan, I guarantee you that the establishment wasn't for him. We just elected a senator from Oklahoma, Senator Tom Coburn, everybody in the establishment was against him. She might get elected -- So, wait. Just let me finish what I'm going to say, James. Please, I know you hate to hear me, but you have...
CARVILLE: He's got to show these right wingers that he's got backbone. Show them you're tough.
NOVAK: Well, I think that's bullshit. And I hate that. Just let it go.
(Novak leaves set.) HENRY: OK. James, what do you think though, seriously about this Senate race, James, that the -- that basically the Katherine Harris and Bill Nelson, if they do square off, what do you think -- what will that mean for Bill Nelson? He's considered an endangered incumbent.
CARVILLE: Yeah. I don't think -- I think it's actually pretty good news that far down, because I think they thought this speaker would be a tougher guy. It was just one of these things. I think Nelson's feeling pretty good right now. It won't be a primary. He'd rather not have a primary. But I suspect he's feeling pretty good.
There are links all over the internet including several on this very thread.
and now we get treated to Ceci Connelly's cleavage...which I think is an illusion done with make-up.
